Two weeks ago I traded in 18 dbl cab on a new 2022 LTD LTZ 1500. Nice truck. Got it for the wife to drive mostly.

After driving it then getting in my lifted 18 was like going back 10 years.

Sure the lifted truck is badass but it is a burden too.

Can't fit in garage, carwash.

Also it is illegal in my state. 8" too high.tires stick out too far blah blah blah I had my fun with it and it's time to move on while it's still worth top buck.

I'm trading it in Monday morning on a new 2022 LTD High Country 1500 with the big bad 6.2. Loaded with everything even technology package.

Ill chime in and see what's up here but be mostly be up on the T1 forums breaking their balls.

Here's the new rig she real purty

Had a ‘19 denali loaner. Made a post about it somewhere compared to my k2xx 6.2.

The factory engine, throttle, and trans tuning was spectacular on the denali. That lazy throttle was completely fixed. The trick tailgate was more than a gimmick, surprisingly useful.

it was indeed a really nice truck. But there was a major downside to it. The interior was almost the same. There is no way I would pay all that money and sit in what felt like the same exact interior. Otherwise it was basically k2xx with all the flaws perfected.

now the 2022 interior, that’s a whole different animal. That I would definitely upgrade too.

But I just lease a 2022 wrangler rubicon 4xe. Waiting for it to get built. Similar acceleration to the 6.2 truck but now I don’t have to spend $4k a year guzzling premium. Between the ridiculous lease deals on the 4xe and the high market values of used trucks. I’m literally saving about $10k over 3 years leasing a $62k wrangler and selling my 2014 truck. That’s assuming market value of my truck drops about $7k over the next 3 years and 30k miles.

10mpg of premium vs 35mpg of regular on the 4xe. The difference in fuel cost is not much less than the entire 3 year lease cost of the wrangler.

but yeah, i also stopped needing a truck bed. So I guess thats a big downside to a wrangler, no bed lol.

I think the new bigger screen and bs will be more of a distraction. Maybe not

This one is bad enough the way it is

Good for you, dieselfan! I hope you enjoy the new ride.
Gonna miss all of your content over here, but I'm definitely looking forward to what's to come in the T1 section 🙂

It lists "No Autostop" in the sticker. I'm assuming that means it doesn't shut off at stops and restart when you get ready to move again? That's my biggest gripe on the newer ones and didn't like it. I had a newer loaner one time and absolutely hated that option.

You are correct. Most of these are missing that thank God. It's annoying.

Welcome to High Country.  You got the best color, now get it paint corrected and ceramic coated and you will be set.

Thank you

This color is called Mosaic Black Metallic.  It has a hint of gold flake. A little different than Onyx Black.

I'm getting the front of it it Xpel film tomorrow
