22 Refresh Dash USB Ports location

Have a 20 Sierra now and was curious where the USB ports on the Dash ended up on the Refresh Interior. On the Chevy they are pretty obvious, but had to hunt on pictures of the Sierra. When I found them I was a bit puzzled. Why of all places there? Seems like any spilt liquid from the cup holders would mean zap no more ports.

Can barely tell they angled it a bit forward facing away from the cup holder. But doesn't seem like would help much.

I got a better picture of it.. and it's not looking good...

On mine, I have the USB cable sticking out from the storage box (I have 40/Console40) and I use one of the cupholders for the phone.

Agreed! Luckily there is still the ones in the center console too. But almost wish they'd of just deleted the dash ones on the GMC altogether versus that. Don't see why they couldn't of put them higher up inside the cubby part. Bunch of other vehicles have them there.

Agree, stupid place for the ports. What’s worse is that trailer brake controller on the Sierra. That couldn’t possibly be any dumber. Maybe they changed it for the production trucks??
