Have been driving my new 2023 Colorado ZR2 for 2 weeks and suddenly the Forward Collision System Unavailable light is on. Can't use Adaptive Cruise Control, or Lane Keep Assist. I made sure all cameras and sensors are clean, but warning still on. Truck's going to the dealership next week for service.

Have you scanned for any codes?

Reseat the #15 fuse and use some silicone grease. This usually happens in colder weather as metal contracts in colder temps and doesn't make good contact. If you go back in this thread, I took and twisted the spades on the fuse about 5 degrees so that it makes better contact with the contacts within the fuse box. If you still have issues, you can reset the fuse by pulling the battery cables off and touching the negative to the positive terminal so that it clears the remaining electrical charge from the system. Leave the cables off for about 10 min before putting them back on.

Well, a couple of days ago the lane keep assist system came up as unavailable on my 2022 Silverado 1500 LT Crew Cab (Refresh).  I remember having read this thread sometime in the last 2 years, so today I pulled Fuse 11 from the passenger side electrical panel put a slight twist on each of the 3 fuse leads after verifying the fuse was still good, reinserted the fuse and lo and behold the lane keep assist system came back to life!

My thanks to the Forum and it's members.

Additionally, I do believe that @Kaylan Steen is onto something with respect to his theory that the contact spacing is off in the passenger side electrical center.  By the way, I have been dabbling in electronics since becoming an Amateur Radio operator 53 years ago, and I have run across similar intermittent issues a couple of times when troubleshooting/repairing electronic gear.

Thanks again!

I just took my 2022 Refresh silverado in for the crash detection system and ccv. The crash detection system would work if I started the truck, shut it off, then restart the truck, every time. The dealer said they tried to recalibrate the camera and it would only go to 94% then fail. We'll, they are telling me it will be $750 to replace and recalibrate the new camera. It will be 4-7 days before it comes in. I went and picked the truck up and now no light is on the dash, but nothing works, no lane keep, no cruise control, no auto high beam, no crash detection, nothing. I could have delta with restarting the truck to have all my features working, but instead, nothing works. This has been an issue since day one with the trucks, why do I have to pay $750 to get my safety features to work if this is a know issue by GM. 42k on my truck.

If your truck has been to the dealer for that same issue while it was under warranty, and the issue was not resolved at that time, there will be a repair order or other documentation in their system to that effect. If that's the case you might try opening a case with GM customer service.

If it has never been checked by the dealer for this issue you're probably out of luck.

2022 Sierra with lane keep assist unavailable. Dealer changed camera but could not get it to calibrate. Stops at 94% complete. Told me to drive truck about 100 miles and if it didn’t calibrate to come back. Since then I have found a TSB that details explicitly how to get camera to calibrate in situations where it stops at 94%. I hope dealer also has that but I’ll bring with me when I return.

Dealer was able to fix the lane keep assist calibration issue. Steps in TSB 23-na-095 did not work on my truck.  I was advised that they used Autel equipment (not sure of spelling etc) and were able to get the camera past the 94% calibration point and attain full calibration. Lane keep assist functionality is working now.

I am really glad I found this post and this site...

We have a 2022 1500 refresh LTZ that has these problems:

- forward collision avoidance warning light

- lane keep assist unavailable

- adaptive cruise control unavailable

The truck was bought as a new leftover in 2023, so it was still under the 3/36 B to B when it went in for these problems earlier this year. It has been at the dealer on and off now for about 110 days now. These are some of the things they have done that I can read on the service tickets.

- replace/add ground straps (4)

- check all battery cables and vlts

- replace serial data gateway module

- replace front view camera

- numerous reprogramming

- a few calibrations (apparently ending with 'learned')

Last week when I had it back the truck had those 3 warnings every time we used it except for 3 times. On three separate occasions the truck started and ran perfectly with no (zero) warning messages or warning lights lit - everything worked perfectly.

Over that same time period the truck did not work on every other 'key' cycle which I would estimate at 60+ cycles. On those estimated 57 cycles it had the same 3 problems each and every time.

It is back at the dealer now - can anyone help at all with what the true problem might be?

Or possibly what can be ruled out leaving a lower number of possibilities?

Thank you very much for any help you may be able to supply....

OK.... so I think it is fixed this time.

New updated program required to get this running is #PIT6504 dated Apr 1 , 2026.

Appears the applications cover numerous Chevy and GMC vehicles with fwd col, AEB, and LKA options.

Hopefully this helps someone out in the future with these issues.
