Not sure what the "price" has to do with problems. It is a mechanical vehicle assembled with thousands of parts by people and machines, stuff happens. People with Bentley's don't just magically have no issues because they paid 300k, they also have warranty claims. You bought a thoroughly worked over refreshed model, it may have bugs.

Because it's a alot of money and there should be better quality control. Its not a 20K Kia. Its 65K and its OK to have expectations of the product. My expectation is not to have a job fixing their product and call it a warranty. When you pay more for something considered to be better --then you have an expectation of the quality and product. 10 dollar chinese watch stops working after 2 months...you got what you paid for. Rolex stops working after 2 months...unacceptable. Not what you paid extra for. I dont want a job warrantying a product that I paid to just work as described and designed. Yes things go wrong and that what a warranty is for....but quality control should be catching things before it ships out...I didnt ask for a job, i bought a 65K truck...i want to enjoy it.

True! Very well to the point, the expectation is set high in terms of the amount of money one spends.  If I paid for a $100 steak it better not taste like I'm chewing a piece of rubber meat.

Well the new refresh- optioned as my 2021 was mid 72-75K? cant remember...but that is not happening! Love my truck but it is a pickup truck, jeeze.

Sorry about the smart remark, but we all know what they cost. 

Yupp, they're stupid expensive.  

But they can't build them fast enough, and the market seems to want all the ones with all the fancy toys.

 

I never understand why posters seem to think pointing out what they paid somehow adds something to the discussion.

Doesn't matter what you paid, they all make a bad one once in a while. Mass produced goods aren't hand built.

I just talked with a guy yesterday who got a new 2022 K2500 CC Silverado diesel, just CC long box work truck.  GM bought back his 2021 due to frequent and severe engine/transmission issues.  He said the dealer had it more than he did and they could not solve the problems. The dealer told him GM wanted it back so they debug it. 

 

He owns a construction company and has a few GM diesels trucks, every 2 yrs he bugs a new one but keeps them till the fall apart so the dealer went to bat with GM ro facilitate the buy-back.

No, when this happened the blinker did not work. it happened again a couple of weeks ago, turned the truck off then turned back on no issues so far.

Because it highlights the quality of the product or in this case the lack of.

 

Sharing your personal experience with people could help them make an  informed decision.

 

Example:

 

Would you purchase a  truck that most people are sharing they are having issues with?

Indeed! If I had purchased a used truck with a few thousand miles on it I would expect to have some sort of issues but having bought a brand new one I did not expect it that soon.

It went away for a few weeks then 2 weeks ago it happened again, turned the truck off and back on, went away again, no issues so far. who knows if it will return and stay so the dealership can "replicate it"

Just a thought but perhaps record the issue with your phone the next time it happens? It always seems to work out that the problem disappears when a dealer is tasked to look it over.
