2022 Sierra AT4 Rain sensing Wipers

I swear it was an option when ordering.... its even in the owners manual but it doesnt seem to be working.

 

Anyone else having this issue?

You have to turn the wipers on to the lowest intermittent position for rain sensing to work.

I could be wrong. But I believe if you have rain sensing wipers turned on in the settings, it will be active on any of the intermittent positions.

Dirk13 is correct, there is a parameter in the Settings Menu that needs to be turned on for rain sensing to work.

Even you turn on in settings, you still have to be in the first click position of intermittent for the rain sense to work.

In 'Personalization settings':

 

Rain Sense Wipers

 

This setting automatically turns on the wipers

when moisture is detected and the wiper switch is in intermittent mode.

 

Touch Disabled or Enabled. 

 

 

It is standard on 'refreshed' 2022 and 2023 1500's 

SLT,  AT4, AT4X, Denali,  Denali Ultimate 

ZR2, LTZ, HC

 

Unavailable on other trims.

Mine works in any of the intermittent positions.
