2023 Custom Trail Boss Fog Lights

I have researched as much as I can and there appears to be zero chance of installing factory fog lights on my new Custom Trail Boss. The valance doesn't even have the space opening to put them. I'm not really interested in the flush mount pods. Am I correct about my assumption?

My 2020 Custom (not Trail Boss) at least had the cut outs to install them.  Thanks for any information

GM's accessory kit keeps getting delayed.  It does have a part # of 85520068 but is still not yet available to buy.  

 

You can use the steps in that video, just remember you won't be able to use a factory fog switch.  Has to be wired to its own or tied to the park lamps or headlamps something like that.

I've seen that video before and not really interested in digging in that deep for fog lights if that's what it takes however I do have auto body experience and replacing the valance is not that involved. I did the factory fog lights on my 2020 Custom which did have the cut out valance. I did the factory wiring but when I went to get the BCM flashed, dealer said it would be $400.00 plus to do it so I went with the Gen5 wiring harness and worked just fine. The valance is my hang up. I may change my mind on doing pods as I did see some pics where someone did the Diode Dynamics pods and it did look sharp on a Custom Trail Boss. Thanks for the response.

The GM kit, if it launches, will have a replacement valance.  3 hours install time.

Wow now I am going to think twice about buying a 23 Custom Trail Boss. Thats alot of BS to install fog lights.
