Freshen up my Rhino Liner bed liner

when I bought the truck, it already had a spray on bed liner.  it's the Rhino-Liner by Ziebart.

if i wash it thoroughly and "degrease" it can I use a roll-on liner over top?  like Raptor Liner? 

there are some spilled paint marks on the existing that i want to cover, and the tail gate has some of the Rhino peeled off.

In theory yes, but think about this: Why don't you drop Ziebart a note at their website and see what they have to say on the matter?

because they will reply "yes - but for best results please bring it in and for $5000 we can freshen it up" and I am still back to square one

 

just wondering if anyone here has done it successfully.
