Does anyone know the part number for a replacement oil drain bolt and seal for my LM2?

Looking at parts websites I’m only seeing it come with a new Lower Oil Pan, not by itself.

No, I don’t want a fumoto valve.

Many times you can go to GMparts.com  online and create an account. Then you can search for VIN specific parts for your truck. It will also show your local dealers price (some discount, some dont)

Engine drain bolt and seal is one thing I like to have on hand for vehicles I'm doing the oil changes on.

This ensures that I don't turn the corners on the bolt or have damaged seal.....🙄

Considering the inconvenience of distance / time to go to a parts source or dealer, it's insurance.

Yes, I have a collection of them for vehicles / machines no longer owned.

If its not leaking, no need to replace.  They are reusable unless its leaking.

Thank you, that includes the seal/gasket as well I’m assuming.

it seals fine. However, I just changed the oil last week and noticed the dealer rounded it off pretty good when they did the previous change. It was a little sketchy getting it off and had no choice but to reuse it since I didn’t have a spare. I want to replace it on the next change.

My old Honda had a policy of replacing the gasket every change. A thick, soft copper washer. I reused the same one doing my own changes for about 200K miles. Took it to the dealer for a CV joint and they did me the 'Favor" of changing the oil and crushing the washer to paper thin and rounding the bolt to the point Vise Grips were required to remove it. I did not go back. Told that story to my current mechanic and he got the point. Never damages anything.

i had a bad socket and stripped mine a few times. Rock Auto website was great. Part was like $5. I saw there was a gasket listed as well for $2, so i ordered it too. When i received the parts, the plug had gasket already, and the separate gasket i bought was not correct. no problem since it was only $20 total with shipping, but Rock Auto website makes things easy to find, cheap, and get to your fast.
