I was connected to Carplay last night and I received a text that interupted the audio.  Since then I have no audio for FM, Sirius or any of the installed apps that would play audio.  I removed my phone from being connected, disconnected apple CarPlay, power cycled, let it sit overnight and still no audio.  I decided to setup a new connection for my phone and it connected  as usual.  Whats odd is if i select music from one of my Apple Carplay apps it plays through the speakers just fine, if I exit to one of the vehicle sources, no audio.  I deleted the phone again, turned off Apple carplay and still no audio from the truck apps after power cycling.  Anyone else had this issue?

By power cycle do you mean disconnecting the battery? If not, I’d try that.

Yea not sure what you mean by power cycle........

If you hold down the call cancel button for about 10-seconds it will restart the whole infotainment system.

Give that a try......

I should have been more clear on the power cycle thing.  I turned off the truck and opened the door for a few minutes and let it sit overnight.  I'll try the call button option first, then go to the battery.  Thank you for the suggestions.

I just went out and hit the call cancel button for 10 seconds as you suggested, worked!  Thanks again!

While in park with the truck running, hold the end call/mute button on the steering wheel for approximately 10 seconds until the radio goes blank and does a forced restart. See if that does anything to fix your problem.

There are videos that show resetting the radio through your on screen settings menu.  Restart options, restart in safe mode.  That has worked for all of them.  I have not tried this yet, but I know the reset with the "hangup" button has not ever worked for me.  It reset the radio, but still no sound.  Safe mode has seemed to work for the rest of them that have tried it.  I hope GM gets this fixed.  Very frustrating that you pay this much money for a truck with this issue.  They need to understand, too, that this is a safety issue.  When you loose sound, you also have no bluetooth.  Is GM going to pay the ticket when you have to grab your phone because you can't hear anything from your vehicle?

It has happened multiple times to my 2024 High Country as well. Appreciate the reset advice but that’s a pain as you lose previously programmed.

Chevrolet should be fixing this. By the way the sound for the signal lights also turns off.

Be nice to The Grandma ahead of you driving with her turn signal on, especially if she is driving a Chevrolet!

Let me guess. no music, no turn signal noise, but probably start up/seatbelt chime?

Hi -

Just had this resolved at dealer.  There is a new recall (N242435631) that also includes bulletin 24-NA-117 to upgrade radio.  I asked about bulletin when recall done and they said it was included.  I double checked radio version and it was updated.

I have '24 DU and 50% of time audio went out last time couldn't get reset to work.  No issues since this recall was done on Monday.

Cheers, Bob!

2024 lt trail boss and I’ve had the recall done and used all of the other steps and still no audio. You don’t get audio from all sources AND onstar. You can call I think but you won’t be able to hear them. This is a HUGE issue and the dealer doesn’t know how to fix.

My problem is my High Country is a 2022.  That means I have the old 8 inch (not 7 inch in low end models) screen, so the new hold the hangup/mute button for 10 seconds doesn't work (and I am out of warranty!)  I have disconnected both negative battery leads (Duramax twin batteries) for 10 minutes.  Checked 3 fuses (Info1 and Info2 on passenger side) and the AMP fuse (drivers side).  I have reset to factory settings (2022 does not seem to have a "start in safe mode") so now I lost all the measurements I entered for the 4 trailers I pull and will have to reenter all those dimensions into the trailer towing package.  I have a feeling and will get a new USB-C to USB-C cable that it may cause it as when I use WIRELESS Apple Car Play it does not happen as quickly. (only a guess at this point).  If any one else knows how to do a full reset on a 2022, that would be great.  I am hoping my AMP did not fail as I am on year 4 and 80K miles.
