I have the original Goodyear Wrangler Durotrac tires (M&S LT275/65R18) on my 2019 TrailBoss. They have been really loud from Day 1, loudest tires I've ever had on any truck. It doesn't sound normal but I can't tell if that's just how they are or what and I've just lived with the annoyance. At first I didn't notice it as much as everything else about the truck was so smooth and nice and new, but over time I couldn't help focusing on it. I have to turn my radio up louder and it can bothers my passengers. Are these Durotracs just known to suck so bad or can it somehow be something else? I wish I had replaced them years ago but was cheap and lazy. They have lasted 55k and I'll probably get another 5k out of them before they need replacing.

The Goodyear Duratrac is a tire that makes more noise than most, yes.  Not full on mud tire loud, but they can be noisy.  That is normal based on the design of the tire.  Aggressive open block tread design with a hybrid AT/MT tire tread pattern.

55k mi out of them is almost normal if not slightly above normal.  They do last about 45-55k miles.

The biggest thing in keeping the noise lower on them is frequent rotations.  Due to the open block design they can feather  faster so rotating before 6000mi will keep the noise down a bit over time.  I used to rotate every 3000-4000mi and they didn't get hardly any louder than day one noise level.

I second all of this, it was an eye (ear) opening experience for me when I first started going with MT's on my Jeep many years ago.

Agree with all of the above. Noisy tires this is normal. They need rotating every 5000 miles but they look bad ass and work very well in mud and snow.

Known noisy tires with high miles as well as how’s your alignment?

My truck doesn't pull to either side which is the only way I know if something is out of alignment.
