I just ordered my new truck today!! Very excited!! I ordered....

Its the EZ lift tailgate and comes with tailgate lock.

 

I also got some GM assessories like the grill with chrome mesh and chrome gas door and chrome door handle plus a Back Rack.

This will be my first Chev / GM product. I'm currently the owner of a fantastic 2004 150 supercrew lariat. But my lease ends in 2 months so I figured I would give Chevy a shot! Its a hot truck.

Im about a month behind you. Getting the Chrome grill too. I dont know if Im getting the Z71 or the MAX trailering package, but I will get the 6.0.

 

I'd like to get the 20's, but they dont come with either the Z71 or Max trailer package.

DMAX Daddy,Same here,I'm getting the 6-liter no matter what.

I think I'm going with the Z71 pkg. because I like the optional 18" wheels that are available with that pkg.

Your right in the fact that you cannot get the factory 20's with the Z71 or "NHT" Max trailering pkg. (You could add them afterwards however)

Keep this important thing in mind though......If you get the 6-liter with the Z71 package it only comes with 3.73 gears,However with the "NHT" Max trailering pkg. it comes with 4.10 gears.

That could be a big decision maker for you if your going to do any heavy towing,these new trucks are rated for up to 10,500lbs towing with the "NHT" pkg. with the 4.10 gears,but with the 6-liter and 3.73 gears the rating is only up to 8,500lbs.

Thats the other reason I think I'm going with the Z71 pkg. I really don't want 4.10 gears,3.73 is all I want or need.

And even without the "NHT" pkg. the 6-liter still comes with the "M70" 4L70E Super-Duty transmission and 9.5" rear-end.

Thats my sticking point, do I want the 4.10 or the 3.73 rear end. Im bouncing around seeing what campers weigh to get an idea of what we might get and what weight it is.

 

Ill probably get the Z71 because even if we do get a camper, it wont be that big or that heavy.

Any update arctic cat. I ordered mine on the same day you did. I was told 4 to 6 weeks. I read on other post here that it could take up to 4 months. I would be so pissed!!
