Factory tires.

Granted. There are different factory brands for different trucks and/or configurations.

What was your factory brand and how many miles did you get out of them before replacing?

Thanks.

I went just over 60,000 miles on the Goodyear Wrangler AT/S tires that came with my 2004 Z71 Tahoe. If winter wasn't coming up, I could have kept them another 10K or so. I don't baby the truck, but I do treat it with some respect. Rotated no earlier than every 10K to 15K, depending on when I could see a difference in wear.

There are a couple of wild cards in the deck. Which tire came on your truck?

If you happened to get Goodyear "Wrangler ST", it's not a question of how long they last but how long before you wreck the truck. Tolerated them for @ 20K on my Jeep. After the 3rd 180 degree spin-out, they went in the trash dumpster with abundant tread depth remaining. Have been told the factory Continentals are just as bad.

Bridgestone Dueler AT "RHS" come on my '07,I already "chucked" them at 7,000 miles for a set of Goodyear Wrangler AT/S's.

I won't run anything else but Goodyear's,I've gotten as much as 50-60,000 miles on Goodyear's,The Wrangler TD's that use to come on Z71's wore like iron for me,easy 60,000 miles on'em.

And the RT/S's that were on my '97,when I traded it with 34,000 miles on it they still had more than half the tread left, the guy that bought it ran them until almost 65,000 miles.

One exception....As Roger said,The Wrangler ST's are junk,They don't belong on a 2wd truck let alone a 4wd one.

My 99 Z71 came with Firestone Wilderness AT tires in P-metric size. I got about 38K on them before they wore down to where I decided to dump them and got a set of Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo's.

The Duelers are still on my truck and with close to 40K miles on these tires, they are less than halfway worn down

The Firestones rode failry smooth but the tread pattern was exactly the same pattern as the Wilderness AT Tire of Exploding Death as was used on Ford Explorer's. When the big Wilderness AT recall started, I thought of dumping at that point, but the tires used by Chevy/GMC at the time were built at a different plant and were not the same size as the recalled tires. Still didn't like the idea of having them on there so I drove pretty carefully and didn't carry a lot of weight in the truck.

Factory Goodyear 20's. Bought it used with 6k and managed to make it all the way to 9k before I couldn't stand how horrible they were and replaced them with Michellin's.

I'm at 59K with the Bridgestone Duelers that came on my 04 and I'm planning on changing them in the spring. I rotate every 10K and they still have 5/32nd's left on them. I should be around 65K when I finally retire them.

My 06 came with the Bridgestone Duellers and I replaced them at 35k. Not sure if it's the Florida roads because my wifes Monte Carlo needs new tires at 30k and they are the BFG H rated performance tires that are rated at 60k miles. We'll see how long the Michelin's on the truck last.

Were these 3 spinouts in rain, snow, ice or what?

Thanks.

My Bridgestone Dueller AT's were cupped badly at 9500k so thy were replaced under warranty with Dueller RH-S. We will see how long these lasts.

Hahaha, same here.

Bought the truck new with the 20 inch wheel package. Got freaking Goodyear Eagle LS-2's...on a 4x4 truck?! At 7000 km pulled the Eagles and went to a nice set of 275/60-R20 Michelin LTX M/S tires.

Goddam GM and their crappy OEM tire choices. I wanted big wheels because they look bitching with big tires, not because I want to run performance tires!
