Can't Decide

I won a bid on ebay for these ATX Mace 20" with Cooper LTZ 285/50/20 which I like the look, but was really looking for 18s. I bid on these because I thought the price was real good - $1360 total shipped. The seller will get me 18s but does not have them available in the ATX Mace, he has Helo Maxx 6 which also look pretty good that he will trade with Nitro Terras 285/60/18 for the same price, but on these I am asking for load range E. Also, looking at the Moto Metal 956. I don't go off road as a sport, just hunting and fishing, I have 4x4 just to have it available and get out of the mud/sand. So 20s or 18s? Which would look better on my truck?

I think the ATXs are more expensive. Because I am asking for a trade I don't think he is giving me as good a deal. What do you think?

Obviously, you like the ATX Mace wheels or you wouldn't have bid on them. If it were me and they were even money, *I* would get the Helos.. Maybe it's just that picture, but the Maces just don't impress me that much..

Thanks, I welcome your opinion. Yep, I've seen some pictures that don't look as good for both of those wheels. I like them both, the Maces look more offroad, while the Helos are a good combination of both street/offroad. Only thing that bothers me about the Helos is the large open space between the spokes, wish they had more spokes or covered more area.

After enlarging the pic of ATX wheels, I like them better. That angle sucks. It's hard to tell what is reflexion and what is part of the wheel cut out.

That top pic is almost impossible to tell what is wheel and what isn't.

Gil,

Like you, I don't "sport" off-road, just go off-road to hunt. But you probably know, it can sometimes turn ugly just trying to get somewhere; jagged rocks, cactus, dead brush roots, deep ruts, etc.. For that stuff, you want more sidewall height and load range E tires.

really id say you liked the 20s better as you did bid on them and since you only go off road to hunt and fish youd be good with the 20s and hes tryin to get you on the trade for the 18s as they aren't as much. And it all comes down to what you like.
