But today I Finally installed my custom Icon CDCV coilovers to replace the factory strut and BDS strut spacer and then of course added Icon billet UCA’s. Truck is super smooth now!!

  4. I noticed when the a/c is set to “auto”, and you take a hands free call, the a/c temporarily slows the fan down so it isn’t so loud. As soon as you hang up, it resumes cooling at the rate prior to phone call. Doesn’t shut it completely off, just turns the power down so you can hear. I thought it was cool.

  10. Until recently the MY GMC app key fob was free for previous vehicles.. I used it for my 2013 with out charge. Now they want an onstar subscription to be able to use the key fob on the My GMC app. Once my 30 day trial was over , it disappeared from the app. Ridiculous on a $50K vehicle...

  11. I can’t speak for the 2020 unfortunately but in the previous generation (15-19) the headliner was the same height regardless of sunroof or not.

  12. MSRP for RST was $55.6K went out the door taxes, tags, and paperwork for $42000 even. Showed final sales price as $44.0K on the paperwork but my ' 16LT in excellent condition trade was kicked up in value from $30K (absolute max which is what I wanted for the trade) to $32K and I only paid the differential of $12K, so technically it went for $42000........even threw in $60 molded flaps. And $2K was placed on the credit card where I get 3% back so actual sale price was $41,940.

  14. Yes, I have remote start. I thought you were talking about being able to press the start button in the truck without having the fob present. My bad.

  15. This is one I got from @pgamboa How to swap the glovebox lock for anybody doing the whole dash swap on a 2014-18 Chevy or gmc there a small notch when u pull the lever down on the glove box u needa a small screwdriver or something thin to push it down and pop it out the cylinder hole, it’s a small silver/chrome piece holding the lock n the cylinder!!!!

  16. AUTOMATIC 4 HI If road conditions frequently alternate between high- and low-traction areas, consider using the “AUTO” setting found on select GMC electronic transfer cases. This setting allows your GMC to automatically distribute torque to the front axle by anticipating the need for additional traction. Shifting into “auto” engages the front axle, but the transfer case sends power primarily to the rear wheels in normal conditions and the clutches modulate torque forward to provide stability and enhance traction to the vehicle. Although not always optimal for efficiency and wear of your vehicle 4wd driveline, AUTOMATIC 4 HI can be used on any road condition without risk of damaging your vehicle.

  17. I just stumbled upon this. I’m assuming it’s the same for our trucks https://www.gmc.com/gmc-life/how-to/when-to-use-four-wheel-drive Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  18. Are you saying you can start your truck with the fob outside the vehicle? If so, I'd have that checked out. I can hold mine outside the window while I'm sitting in the driver's seat and it will give me the "no remote detected" message if I step on the brake and push the start button.

  19. The key fob seems to work from plenty far away for me. Also I don't ever leave it running unless I have someone in the truck while I go inside. Even if it's just a quick in and out I turn it off. Usually doesn't get hot enough to make a difference. I live in Texas so it's plenty hot here. I don't think I would want another vehicle without remote start though lol.

  22. When traveling with my dogs, I always put them in the bed. I have a rubber mat on the floor to keep them from sliding around and have a topper on it. I have the sliding rear window on the cab and the windows are tinted. I usually have the slider opened as well as front window on the topper so I can try to keep an eye on them. Besides the bed lights, I have a dome light on the topper that is hooked up via the bed lights. At night, especially with the tinted cab sliding window, it is very hard to see what they are doing back there. I knew that while moving, just pushing the cargo light switch wouldnt work. Just for kicks, I tried switching into neutral while rolling down the road, and sure enough, the bed lights and topper dome light came on. Now I can check on them any time I want at night.

  28. Maybe you can work it into the deal on the truck. Otherwise you can always use your phone to unlock the truck by calling onstar and telling them you locked your keys in the truck and your dog is trapped inside or something lol. I've heard that it works every time.

  31. Pixel 2 on Android 9. No issues in 3 months. Works every time on LT trail boss. I have noticed AA seems much happier if you let the truck screens finish loading after staring before you plug in your phone. I usually give it 30 seconds or so. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
