1st post here. Hope I get the attachment right! Bought my '20 LT Texas Edition 2.7T back in October. The Trail Boss has always been my favorite, just wasn't in my budget. I started by making my truck a bit of a "tribute" by blacking out all the chrome. Swapped the 17" stocks to some 20". Vinyl wrapped the grille and powder coated the bumpers. Then I leveled it with 2" drop shackles. I'm happy with it!4 points

Much appreciated. All of the little things added up to make it just how I wanted. Started with black mirror caps, 15% tint all around and 85% on the full windshield. Then swapped to LED reverse and license plate lights, added a Bakflip MX4, some steps for the Mrs, wheels, blackout and shackles. I think I'm done tinkering with it. Promised my wife I'd keep it 3 years. We'll see ?2 points

No interest in fixing it, the top aluminum fill bolt locked up onto the housing cause I didn’t realize I left out the O-ring and over tightened it seizing it up and I felt drilling it out would’ve compromised besides, I’ve got one more for just in case lol Sent from Above2 points

Red, blue, black, white, green, brown and orange with a solid or two tone paint scheme have served me well! I appreciate that colour is an important consideration when selecting a vehicle but it doesn't take much for me to give up on my preferred colour choice! An individual who has lived with me for over 40 years measures the worth of a vehicle largely by colour so my justification for deviating from a preferred colour has to be razor sharp. I'm confident the absence of cup holders would easily override half of the colour wheel! ?2 points

Yes. Gm Parts Direct has it. I ordered all 3 badges and the 2 exhaust tips.. $297.56 shipped. I don't have any local dealership connections anymore to get hooked up on employee or trade pricing.2 points

Changed to a 2” level up front from a 1.5” (purely for looks). Just made 15K miles. Took another trip to the hunting camp. Still love this thing! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

Oh perfect thanks so much for the quick response. Been looking all over because that factor decides what wheels and tires I get ?.1 point

? sometimes I feel like a commercial pilot getting into my 2019 RST. Push a button to start it. Push a button to release the P brake. Push a button to turn on steering wheel warmer. Push a button to turn on seat warmer. Push auto-stop to turn it off. Push wheel on steering wheel to clear message in DIC that auto-stop is off.1 point

Dealer told me today that my truck *should* be delivered the week of the 17th.1 point

Just curious did you do the front emblem as well or are you planning on going the illuminated route??1 point

I guess I'm shit out of luck then when it comes to washing the damn thing. I have neither the time nor inclination to hand wash my truck. It's car washing (brushed or brushless) only for me. For now, my sealant TSB patch job is holding. I usually run it through a wash about twice a month weather permitting.1 point

The price you see listed is the programming fee with you supplying the appropriate hardware. You can chose to have WAMS supply you with the hardware. If you choose to have them supply the hardware, you’ll get brand new hardware with warranty and you’ll retain your GM factory warranty or extended warranty (if you still have it). Have had the kit on (springs and shocks set at 2.5") for about a week and the I give this kit an A+. It could be because my Ranchos were shot, but the truck is night and day and I couldn't be happier. Only negative to the kit is the truck doesn't sit quite as high set at the 2.5" as the RC 2.5" spacer kit did. I am not too bummed though because the ride quality has improved sooo much. I forgot to take measurements before to see how much it dropped it but it is only a tad.1 point

Every 7500 miles. I’m changing mine at 1500 for the first time then I will go to a 5000 mile schedule after that.1 point

I did "look" at it when I had the scanner going but didn't check close or for long since I was looking at other stuff. I'll report back what I find. Thanks for the advice.1 point

Awesome! Really appreciate the help i've been trying to find these since they announced it on the carbon pro and GM has been useless.. Dick confirmed in an above post that #478 was for the door(s) and #479 was for the tailgate. He installed them both. I just placed my order earlier today and the parts guy looked on the parts breakdown and confirmed it for me as well1 point

This was my question too. When I googled the part #'s, it showed a parts diagram for the 84680479 as being for the tailgate. So I assume that the 84680478 is for the door badge (this part number doesn't show any diagrams or images), but wanted to make sure. I assumed I would need to order 2 of those and one for the tailgate. Would like to be certain before I order, because GM parts states it is special order, so if I needed to do returns, I would be looking at a 35% restocking fee in addition to shipping charges. ETA: I see this has been answered. Thanks to the OP for the info!1 point

Ok, I got the sealant done today and the brake failure recall programming update. Praying they both work and I can stay out of the shop for a while. It’s snowing and really cold so I’ll give the caulking a good long time to cure correctly. The big test will be at the car wash next weekend. Fingers crossed!1 point

I finally got this programmed & installed. Not thrilled with the shape of it. It doesn’t look like the one pictured on GM’s website & it doesn’t quite look right on the truck, IMO. It does work good & it has held up to touchless car washes & power washing though. We’ll see how long the battery holds up.1 point

Found one on eBay at 80 bucks more than I found at another place who is sold out. Oh well. Will be here on thursday. Will need to tape and mask off the red so I can paint it black, but I'll install and report back with pics.1 point

They come in this Styrofoam cut out that lines right up with the ridge in the metal of the door I'll grab a pick of it as well. I also used a suction laser level just to be sure but I had that laying around I'm not sure it was really even needed. My other option I was going to do was frame the old one with masking tape use that as my guide1 point

Wondering the same. Maybe one is for the side doors and the other for the tailgate? Which is which?? That way we order 2 of 1 and 1 of the other1 point

I purchased one on January 24th. Got an email from my local dealer saying it is on back order... will update when it comes in and I will include pictures with write up on install.1 point

After the 4 coats it peels really easy I just use a toothpick to get it started in those smaller areas in the G. The shitty part was razor blading in between where the black and red are it's not perfect but looks really good until you get right up on it and really have to look for the imperfections. I'll get some close up photos tomorrow and some close ups of the AT4 badges they are actually painted in a metallic paint. I'm guessing it's the same paint as the new carbon black color they are doing in the Sierras and Yukons.1 point

Also you have to turn them on every time you start the truck and turn on the lights. It's a GM thing that I don't quite understand.1 point
