I have a 2020 Trail Boss LT with the 6.2. It's about as close to a Raptor as you'll get from GM. I have 3 kids, ages 10, 6, and 2. All 3 fit in the back seat just fine. They have plenty of space. With the offroad running boards installed, my 2 year old can climb into the truck an up into her seat on her own. I seriously considered getting an AT4 with the diesel, and if the 6.2 hadn't been made available I likely would've got it. I currently find myself taking 5 hour one way trips for my son's baseball tournaments at least once per month, and kind of wish I got babymax. However, I didn't know at the time of purchase how much COVID-19 would affect routine matters in my life. That doesn't mean I don't like the 6.2, but the mpg of the babymax goes a long way. My general lack of familiarity with diesel engines also had me second guessing, so I stuck with what I already knew -- GM gas V8s. Engines being irrelevant, I love my new GM truck. It's also the first truck I've ever owned. You also said you're looking to buy a travel trailer. That's a no-brainer: AT4 over Raptor. The softer suspension of the Raptor hurts its ability to tow. Thursday I noticed my belt squeaking intermittently while driving a rough paved road at 35mph. My windows were down, and I was the only car in the area. Shortly after I threw CEL I had OnStar email me a diagnostic report. The error code is P25A2. In case you can't see the attached pic, it says: I wonder if the squeak is the alternator pulley. Ordered OEM black exhaust cutouts for the rear bumper that come on the midnight edition Silverados. Then went to the carwash to find out my truck is too tall to use that carwash. With the light bar installed I estimate I need a minimum of 7'5" of clearance. This particular carwash was only 7'2". Truck is headed into the dealership Monday for its first routine service. Ironically, as the oil change notification came up, so did a CEL. That was Thursday. Had OnStar email me the DTC code readout. P25A2. I do suffer from the squeaking belt at start up. I wonder if this is related. Also notice the belt squeaking a bit more over bumpy roads at 35mph while I was driving with my windows open. Once I cleared the bumps the belt stopped squeaking. When I was told a truck was assigned to deliver my truck it took about a week until my truck got the lot. Then, the dealer does all of its BS, which will add a couple days. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Seriously abridged version: Bought truck in early July from dealer in a state I'm not a resident of. Took possession of truck on July 31. Dealership sat on registration and titling paperwork until September (confirmed by state agency that handles the paperwork. Bank is now threatening to increase my interest rate on my loan because they don't have the titling info. I've also had to call the dealership for new temporary tags monthly. I'm now in another state. My state of residency returned paperwork to dealer last week because they didn't submit the forms I gave them in early July. Dealership told me I need to get a VIN verification completed. I've done this in other states before and know it takes a police officer a maximum of 2 minutes to complete. Utah says any police officer anywhere in the country can do this. California police officers say they can't. First police station sent to another, who sent me to another, and so on until I found out at the 5th one I need to schedule an appointment with DMV to get a police officer to sign a form (California once again finding ways to complicated things that don't need to be complicated). Later found out a military police officer can handle the VIN verification and sign the form. This whole ordeal took majority of the day. Hopefully I'll have permanent license plates by Thanksgiving. I don't like it, which is why I didn't get it. I have the Rough Country hard trifold. I wanted something more secure and water resistant than a soft rollup tonneau. That's also not my video.
