  1. The dealer should be able to tell what size differential you have by your VIN.
  2. Who knows. I have a friend that has 369k on their 2005 Suburban and as far as I know the transmission fluid and filter have never been changed. It is as black as coal though.
  3. Your selling dealer should have set you up to get the rewards. If they didn't they fell down on the job. Mine made sure I was hooked up when I purchased my 2019.
  4. The SS 5w-20 is 5.8 and the 10w-30 is 4.1 NOACK. So the 10w-30 is the lowest in the SS line.
  5. At least on mine, it you have gone in the camera on the Mylink and hit the various modes, if you put it in trailer and forget to take it out it will remove the backup lines.
  6. Did you go to the camera mode and click off trailer mode.
  7. It depends on the dealership. We purchased our last 5 vehicles from the dealership I got my 2019 and they still wanted a deposit.
  8. Hope you have good luck selling them. They are some heavy items that is for sure. I'm not so lucky since mine fit a CC standard bed, not many standard beds running around. Since the fit wheel to wheel, they will only fit a standard bed.
  9. Yes all the time. So far I have not found the dome light power source.
  10. It is possible that the one oil pressure sensor that is on your vehicle is one that it's settings are reading at the lower side of average if that makes sense.
  11. This tap on the passenger side has power on all the time once you turn on the vehicle. When you get out and turn off the vehicle it turns off. It is where I have my footwell lighting hooked up to for now.
  12. Welcome back to team GM.
  13. Interesting you mention the UPF48R. GM just sent out a bulletin on using the new UPF63R on the newer V6 engines. " Today's engines have very tight tolerances, multiple oil pressure control systems and high flow lubrication system requirements. These requirements will vary based on the specific engine design, so the proper match of oil filter to the engine application is more important than it has ever been in the past. The High Feature V-6 engines RPO (LGX) and (LGW) have higher oil pump pressure to accommodate engine cam phasing and high-speed bearing requirements. As a result, the oil filter performance was improved to meet this higher oil pressure output. The new UPF63R oil filter has a thicker outer shell to provide higher burst pressure resistance during cold temperature conditions and greater fatigue strength. Failing to use this filter could result in external oil leaks due to gasket blowout or wrench flute cracks. Any time an oil filter is changed on one of the above vehicles, it is recommended to use the new and improved filter." Again, note that nothing is mentioned about it not being able to be used on previous engines, just to make sure to use it on the higher oil pressure system V6 engines.
  14. Just food for thought. The difference is the by-pass setting. The PF48 is set to 15psi, the PF63 is set to 22psi. So in retrospect you would not want to put a filter on an oil system that has high oil pressure because the filter would be in by-pass mode as well as the construction isn't meant for higher pressures. Now to put a higher by-pass filter on a system with lower oil pressures, as stated the above application, basically will not hurt a thing. Just means the filter will not go into by-pass until the system pressure is at 22psi. Which means cleaner oil longer and no dirty by-passed oil. They increased the PF63 due to the higher pressures of the system and to keep the filter from going into by-pass so often. Not trying to say right or wrong, just looking at it from a different point of view. If you read the TSB, it doesn't say anything about not putting a PF63 on an application that uses a PF48, but the other way around to prevent unfiltered oil from circulating in the system which will cause premature wear.
  15. It will work just fine. No issues with it being longer.
  16. Well you can't say you didn't maintain it. Stinks that this happened. Sounds like it has had a hard life and the truck was used as a truck doing work. So I would say it lasted well.
  17. I did the same thing. Forgot to toggle back after playing with all the camera views.
  18. I use Fuelly app. I really like it and if I hand calculate it is spot on to Fuelly. Especially on my Cruze diesel, which I fill up to the very top of the filling neck every time I fill up.
  19. It basically gives back the feeling of driving back in the days when your pedal was connected to the throttle by a physical cable or mechanical linkage of rods.
  20. If this does the same thing as the pedal commander, to me it being $120 less is well worth the cost.
  21. Good question. I would think that you will not be able to just get a different FOB and get it programed. It is the different trim levels that offer the extras which would have different hardware installed. But I could be wrong. Hopefully someone will know.
  22. This is a great thread. One thing I like about my Cruze diesel. I fill it up every time until diesel comes up to the opening and just about to run out. No issues with it like this since there isn't any fuel system returns to worry about. Gives me accurate mpg every time. Plus it gives me an extra 3 gallons that way on top of the 14 gallon tank.
  23. Got this delivered today. Now to find time to install it. Can't wait to hear what it sounds like.
  24. Glad you sold your 2010. I'm sure it went to a good home and the new owner has an awesome truck now.
  25. One shouldn't have any issues using AMSOIL. I have not heard of any and I'm curious to know if anyone that has an 8sp and has the shudder issue if they have tried using AMSOIL's ATL to see if it made any difference.
