Whats next?

Get hired by a large bank, work hard. Work you way up to upper managment then rob that sucker blind.

What :(

I doubt I would go work at a bank with an engineering degree.

You might be surprised. The CEO of The Hartford (about 1/3 of my retirement to this point is with them, and is kicking 37 kinds of ass BTW) had a Doctorate in Chemical Engineering at the time of this article: http://www.usatoday.com/money/covers/2001-07-24-bcovtue.htm

But anyway...CONGRATS MAN! Sticking it out that long certainly required a lot of tenacity. That some of us don't have :D

Options:

* Work "for the man" for the next 35 years!

* Start your own consulting business, and with a little luck maybe retire in less than 35 years!!

* Say "To Hell w/ Corporate Life", and find a fun job like I did! Not making as much money but I LOVE what I am doing.

* Play the lottery and hope for the best!

GOOD LUCK in whatever you decide to do!!

BTW...CONGRATULATIONS on the degree!!

+ Forty Bazillion Trillion Million Thousand and one half.

I've done both. Working for mega corporations SUUUUUUUUUUUUCKS unless you are a human sheep. Smaller, more personal occupations are far more rewarding in life.

You only live once man. Choose well.
