Hi guys! Just want do the whole meet and greet thing. Ive got an 09 Silverado LS, Its pretty stock. 4x4 ext cab, dual magnaflow exhaust, Vortex bed liner and wheel well flares. I also had the Vortex deal spray strip accross the front of the hood cause I was getting little chips in it. I am thinking of going with a 7.5" susp lift from Rough Country simply cause its mostly bolt on and I can do it myself. Anyway here is a pic of my truck before and after the Vortex liner.

Not going to lie... i think the truck looks horrible with the vortex spray the way it is. But to each their own.

I'm partially with Matt, def not my style, and it looks different but I'm sure it serves its purpose for you. And I am sure there are plenty of things about my truck others won't like.

 

That being said, WELCOME! Hope you enjoy it here as much as the rest of us!

The sides aren't too bad, but I prefer my 50$ hood protector for the front.

 

It looks like the rockers are a little thin towards the bottom? I see red showing through.

agreed, that should be the thickest spot...it's going to take the most abuse.

Holy hell I cant believe you did that to your truck, I think you will be sorry you did it in about a year. You might as well did the whole truck in red color match liner. The resale value just went down the tube unless you have it sanded off and repainted.

Perhaps he added the protection because he intends to keep the truck for a LONG time and saw this is as a preventative measure against rust and rotting rocker panels?
