Is it possible to extract the fluid from the fill hole?

Drain plugs not directly on the bottom? Its not on the back of the cover.. and hasn't been there for years

My 07 Vmax with 14" hybrid rear end has it on the bottom.

WTF? i guess i have to get real dirty and buy a gasket to do the fluid service? i didn't remove the skid plate yet but i hope the front diff has a drain plug in it.

No I don't have a drain on mine either, I don't think many, (if any) GMT-900 have diff drains or tranny drains.

Don't waste your money on a gasket, use silicone.

No skid plate on the rear diff and there hasent been a drain plug for many years 1999 or 2000. Pull the cover and clean all the gunk out.

the 10 bolt in my 4.3s10 had a square bolt screw to add fluid, i found that one of those siphon pumps works really well... however, it's not nearly as good as the pumpkin pull

It would be wise to pull the cover and clean the casing out properly, that would maybe be why they stop putting plugs in?? No need for a gasket silcone works fine.

Ya, I'd like to get a nice diff cover, but I just can't justify spending insane $$$ replacing something that is already doing a good job
