Sunroof problem

Sunroof open switch will only allow it to open by 1 inch increments with each press and will no longer close it. Instead I have to repeatedly press the button that used to be for "tilting" to engage the "slide" function 1 inch at a time until closed. Any suggestions?

Does this sound like a switch module issue or something with the central control.

That to me sounds like a contact point in the switch.

What is strange is that the function of the two seperate switches have become mixed up - the tilt up or down switch now retracts or extends the sunroof. Seems like a module problem to me. Is there some kind of programming that can be done to correct this?

Is this something you just hold the switch in the closed position to reset the sunroof? I know other vehicles do that.
