Not too bad? I really like your truck Stevens11 , I don't see to much of that color. How dirty does it get compared to black?

Like you mentioned earlier, I just might get a SLT now...due to the gears & having a better 4WD setup than AWD.

There is nothing "cheap" about a Denali. It's top of the GMC line, actually a "luxury truck".

Regarding price, no it's not cheap. Regarding quality....it is. Compare the leather to a King Ranch sometime.

agreed price is expansive but when compared to dodge longhorn truck leather or fords king ranch or fords harley leather there is no comparson that gm is lacking on interior quality with its seats .

I absolutely love this color over the black. It hides the dirt better than you'd expect. The multi-color fleck in the paint hides the dirt and any hair like scratches.

I love my AWD SD. I had a AWD Yukon Denali and liked it so much I traded my 01 5.3 4wd for a SD AWD. 24K miles and no problems at all. Last year we had a 10" snow and I needed somthing out of a barn at the farm. Even with the wide 20" street tires and nothing in the bed it went across the snow covered pasture like it was only an inch of snow. When my wife needs to drive somewhere in bad weather I don't have to explain anything about switching the transfer case, she can just drive it like a car. The AWD is so smooth you would think your driving a 2 wd truck. When you hit some ice or snow you don't feel a thing, the traction is just there. I also love the SD A/C seats, they work great.

It would be nice to test drive them in bad conditions to see how both systems react. (to bad dealer would most likely not allow)

I'd go for the selectable 4x4 system, its nice to have that choice, plus you can use the money you save not getting the Denali AWD on a BB tune later and other mods.

Anyone who says the AWD isnt good in inclement weather hasnt owned one. My S/D was one of the best vehicles i've ever owned. Even with all that power, rain/slush/snow wasn't a problem, it stuck to the road. A few storms we got with 15+ inches was nothing. Id get one again in a heartbeat.

I have a 2009 1500 Sierra Denali. Love it. No complaints. Towed a 9500 # boat on a triple axle trailer the other day and was surprised at how it handled it. The 6.2 is so torquey. I would like to put a leveling kit on it but I have been worried about the vibration some people report. I also tow a lot so, I am also worried about the rear end sagging when towing if I leveled it.

Don't really think it's no good, just that it won't perform like a 4wd system will that's all, you basically have no control over the drive mode......My mother owns a 2008 Equinox AWD and it does great in the PA mtns. in the winter.

I've never seen one Steel gray metallic is the closest thing you can get.

No one knows for sure if that is true. I am sure there will be huge interior improvements.

Here's some tid bits for ya, mostly good news. (I won't reveal my source or any specific info that would damage GM's competetive stance):

2014 trucks (release first quarter 2013)

New non-turbo V6 across the board (likely LFX), around 315 Hp

6 speed auto across the board, inc reg cabs, V6, etc

This will give class leading MPG..... (25+mpg??? Hint Hint)

4.8 liter a goner

Gen V V8's: 5.3 liter, 350hp, more efficiency (DI, gears, etc)

optional 6.2 liter, 425hp

*E-assist coming to trucks*

The best part: the Sierra looks PHENOMINAL and will blow people away, and doesnt look like a chevy, which will be the more "work truck" kinda feel and more "vanilla". Sorry Chevy guys. GM is aiming to increase GMC sales ALOT. Yukon/Tahoe is said to look several generations ahead of the current ones. Will also blow away competition.

Only thing I'm disappointed with about the news is the low HP figure for the 5.3 liter. It needs to match the Ford 5.0.
