I CHANGED MOTORS IN MY 99 CLASSIC SIERREA 1500,IT WAS A 5.0 I GOT A 5.7 BLOCK AND USED ALL THE TOP END FROM MY 5.0, BUT MY TRUCK DONT SEEM TO BE RUNNUNIG RIGHT DO I NEED TO CHANGE MY COMPUTER??,MY MECHANIC TECH SAID NO BUT IM THINKING I MIGHT, IT JUST DONT SEEM POWERFUL AT ALL

Are you using the 5 litre heads? Do you know what the 5.7 came from? If the short block has a bit of a cam in it, it may give. You crappy low end power. As another post says, you need to give more info on how it is running.

Your running a 350 cam in a 305.get it tuned.I would have just dropped in the whole 350.
