Electrical Problem... CRAZY!!!!!

So I was driving down the road and all of a suddon my door locks started to lock and unlock and my DIC was displaying service STABILITRAK and the blinkers where flashing on the instermanet panel. This was freaking my out since I was giong 80MPH on the highway. Has anyone else had this problem?

I found a TSB on this problem.

Nature of Defect:

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING

Bulletin Number:

PIT-4730A

Bulletin Date:

Jun 2010

Summary:

BUICK/CADILLAC/CHEVROLET/GMC/HUMMER/PONTIAC/SATURN: ADDITIONAL DIAGNOSTIC INFORMATION FOR U0140 OR U0073. VEHICLE MAY EXHIBITS SOME SYMPTOM(S) AS DOOR LOCKS CYCLE WHILE DRIVING; INTERMITTENT NO START; SERVICE STABILITRAK DIC MESSAGE; SPEE ( NHTSA ITEM NUMBER - 10036550 )

I wonder if the dealer will fix this even though i'm out of my warranty. I sure hope so. I have been driving around with a 10MM socket so when I can't start my truck I can pull the battery + cable and wait a minuet or so and reconnect it.

UPDATE: I was getting so pissed off that I was in the process of removing my battery and taking it back when I noticed I had a SHIT load of corrosion on my ground terminal. I couldn't see if from the top when I originally inspected the battery. It was under the terminal and where the terminal comes in contact to the battery. I took a Styrofoam cup and cut in half and filled it up with Coke and placed the terminal in the Coke and it's as good as new now and I haven't had any problems since then. Easy fix.

There is a spray you can get at most autoparts stores that once you get rid of the corrosion will help prevent it from coming back. Of course I forgot the name but most of the stuff I have seen is a red spray and the name had something in it to do with battery corrosion inhibitor or prevention or protection, IIRC.

Like Permatex 80370...

Used to use it on electric fork truck batteries (the 6000+lb ones) and that stuff worked very well.

Back in the 80's, Chrysler had this spray gasket sealer, it was a translucent red colour. Best stuff for sealing battery terminals I ever found. Don't know if it is still around though, I had enough of the stuff when I got hurt that I just finished off the last can on my Yamaha battery terminals last fall.

Forgot to add, anytime you have an electrical issue that is just bizarre, check the grounds. 99% of the time that is all it is, initially.

Yea Chrysler still has it:

Mopar gasket sealant pt# 4318035aa $15.45 for a 9 oz rattle can with the same translucent red colour spray
