What did you do with your truck/shop today

I had the truck loaded with scrap today... was doin some yard cleanup before the snow.. i had an old playset i picked up for free mnths ago and it really wasnt worth holding on to.. So i seperated all the steel from the wood and cut up a little trailer frame that wasnt worth rebuilding or fixing, 720 lbs of metal and got like $70 at the scrap yard.. prices went down there to, Light iron/tin used to be $.10 per per or $10 every 100 lbs, Now its only $7 evry 100 Lbs

It was 29 at 5-6 am here today in the pocono area, PA

 

Had to put a heater on in the camper last night, I didnt winterize it yet.

Couldn't tell ya how cold it was at 5:00 this morning. But my bed was nice and warm.

I wasnt up... my girlfreind was checking on our daughter and putting wood in the stove and looked at the thermostat..It tells you the outside temp and is normally very close within 1 degree or so.

Ahh. My parents used wood a lot when I was little, always like the smell/"feel" of wood heat. Even if it is a lot of work. Now I just push buttons on the wall and warm air happens. Thankfully gas is included in my rent.

It was about 27 degrees here this morning but got up to about 53 today and was sunny until this evening when that rain from Michigan found us..... You know you could have kept the rain! lol

 

As for the truck all it did today is take me to work and back.

hahaha it means using your headlights or a spot light and putting the beam of light in the deer's eye, this blinds the deer so they normally stand there for a while which makes them easier to shoot...it's highly illegal in the state of sc
