Yea I male that them o have my house, my truck I'm still paying off, insurance for my truck(lots of tickets) food, utilities, health insurance, and I'm probably forgetting something. When its all said and done I have 200-300 left over that I drop into savings

Used 6.2's are scarce where I live. And my 04 has sentimental value as it was, in a way, a gift. The down and co-signing was the last gift my grandmother got me before she passed. So I'm happy with a 6.0

I'm very happy with my 5.3. It's quiet, doesn't use any oil, pulls really good, and lifetime mpg of 16.1 so far. This truck will get a 6.0 once this engine is done. Hopefully 100000 more miles left.

Nothing wrong with the 6.0 I was just jerkin your chain. I used to drool over the 6.0 before the 6.2 was even thought of for the trucks.

My 4.8 let go a head gasket at just over 100k so start saving

I'm trying.to decide which car I'll use to.take past my personal high of 260k miles. But so far we have driven the Tahoe 2300 miles since October. So probably won't be it, lol.

The highest mileage I had was my 92 integra beater. Died at 239k miles.

My F-150 I had in high school had 210k on it when I sold it to a scrapper. Both gas tanks were rusted out and leaking and the parts were too much to spend on something that old when I already had a newer vehicle. I doubt it would've gone much further though.

My e30 325is was.still running and.driving, it was.just showing signs of chassis fatigue. The miles were on OK roads. Or should I say in potholes and horrible engineered pieces of asphalt and concrete. If anyone travels to the Tulsa area, I'll tell you a turnpike to try. The few bucks will pay for a lifetime memory of a hilariously bad bridge. It's so wavy its referred to locally as The Rollercoaster. It's like it was smoothed with steamrollers that had giant bent oval drums.

You ever been in or seen a vehicle with blown shocks? It hits a bump and keeps bounding on almost forever? It's like that.

Lol. BUT, You don't find potholes in Tulsa. THEY FIND YOU.

That is very true. The bad drivers also find you, lots of sketchy vehicles too.
