That's in line with my Goodyear experience... Da Coopers are flawless, even with all the dirt miles this summer, knock on wood.

Only goodyear issues I have had were horrible traction with the factory P235/75R16 Wrangler ST's. These have been quiet, comfortable, and great wet and dry traction. I am going to make calls tomorrow and see if tire rack or goodyear will do anything for me

Is the tire trashed?

Yea. I couldnt get over for half a mile. Right now I have a 265/70R17 firestone destination at on a 17" steel in its place

How bad is it? I had a decent size rock gash in one of my SR-A's, it went empty almost instantly, and a big patch held it for quite a while.

Damn that sucks. You just got those too. Was it a defective tire or did something gouge it?

I couldnt see obvious damage on the side of the road. I will check it over when I wake up at the crack of noon

Me and my 2010 Sierra All Terrian camping in the back country. We spent the last 60,000 miles traveling all corners of North America.

Here are pics of the tire. I was a pressure break. Apparently I ran something over on the highway and it caused a break in the tire. It isn't a puncture, but looks like one. If I was able to get off the road quickly the tire could have been saved.

You had it for what, a month? Warranty?

Nope, the warranty covers treadwear for 50,000 miles and manufacturer defects. Tire Rack attempted to make it right even though it isn't covered by offering me 50% off of a replacement and waiving the shipping charge
