Well got word this afternoon on my truck, Not only is the Pinion bearing done for but the metal from that got in side and trashed the ring and pinion gear... But I guess its good they found it when they did. Also still did not give me a loner or rental after Ive called and ask 3 times today, claims they don't have any... Not happy about that.

Good that they are fixing it before an ill timed failure. Bad on the loaner. 166 a little steep for me, need a pretty long stretch to fight the aero drag in a truck. Hit 175 in my brother's twin turbo viper once...not much fun on the passenger side as I'm a bit of a control freak.

And I thought 125 in my truck when I had 33's was fast lolSent from the side of the road...

125 is fast on any tire, especially on something that size.

I'm never going that fast on big tires like that again. scared me afterwards once I had thought what I was doing

Lol my truck would probably fall apart at that speed given the way things are going right now

Triple digits is uncomfortable in a truck even with V rated tires on a runway

You need to go triple digits pulling a trailer to get some pucker factor going!! :jester:

85 passing a semi with a truck while towing is enough pucker for me

You can't go wrong with preventative maintenance. I get my trans fluid and filter done yearly.

In the past month or so I've done

2 inner tie rod ends

1 upper ball joint

Oil change

Trans fluid and filter

Rotated tires

Both rear axle seals and fluid

Full detail

Marker/driving lights

New stereo

Tail light

I have a used trans I'm buying from a friend lined up to buy in a couple weeks that I'm sending in to get built up and if my bonus is a decent amount I'm upgrading to 4.56 gears :)

Also fingers crossed that I get this promotion which is 2$ pay raise and finally off third shift

Are they the cab lights that you installed?

Curiously, what did you put in the trans & rear? Have not changed mine yet, has just shy of 3000 on it. Know when I changed a 2007 3500 everything looked like it came out of a swamp(color only, no water). Showed it to a friend who is a mechanic & all he said was typical factory fill.
