I get sick of people telling me to just buy a new one. When it cost more to fix it then a car note then I will replace it

Right I'm to the point where I don't mention things anymore it's always the same story they make fun of me for not driving fast and doing burnouts but they insist that's how it broke now wtf? And if I mention a part name or the shop that I'm taking my trans to they try to get me to take it to someone that us known for doing things wrong. Ugh

It's much easier to just ignore people's advice unless you actually ask for it.

Had to leave my truck 180 miles back at school for thanksgiving cause she's to expansive to drive back home and back to school ! Can't wait to be back in the seat !

Holy Crap, how big is your truck? Its so expansive it can't go 180 miles? Are there a lot of bridges made only for smart cars? Or Is it attached to a double wide or something so it won't fit on even two lane roads?

Also depends on how often, also. It alarms me how A lot of people don't seem to pay attention to that. I've known people who pay a few hundred every few months on repairs and I'm just thinking "you could have bought a nice used car instead?"

Well I have paid that but it also comes down to I'm slowly trying to restore this truck. Long story but there is a lot of sentimental value in it

As long as nice GMT 800's are available that's what I'll have. All the things I want (dimming mirrors, steering wheel controls, auto AC) and none of the things I don't (AFM, traction control).

People laugh at me constantly at work because I drive an older truck... then on the internet because I own a few of them the automatic assumption is I can't afford a new one.... which is beyond laughable when the work truck makes $360 a day on its own. You just ignore it.... whether in real life or on here lol. If the new 6.2 actually performs I would maybe buy a new Silverado for work.... but not until they work out any bugs..... replace the 6L80E.... Put the 6.2 in the LT and SLE trim level with the max trailer package....allow a person to shutoff the traction control and stabilitrack at any speed......and that's about it. First three should be 2015... as hopefully adding the max trailer 6.2 to the LT and SLE trims like the older trucks happened in 2010 after initial release in 2009. Last one though is a deal killer unless something changes. Take your nanny garbage that does not work on a slippery cold icy road and shove it.... not tolerating that trash.

I leave it on when on snow or ice with the family on the highway. Otherwise I press and hold as part of the put the key in belt up and press and hold the traction control button. Sometimes sideways can be fun.

I have the newest truck out of alot of my friends so I can't figure out why they need to say the things they do..

My truck has everything but traction control id rather not have it I learned to drive the old school way and don't want the help of electronics.
