No 4hi auto or 4lo my tcase was recently rebuilt I don't think it's that. but the last time I used 4wd it was acting weird jumping to auto for whatever reason. And I'm not hearing the actuator at all when I press it thats why I'm thinking it's that because if it was trying to go into 4 and the tcase was acting up then I'd still hear the actuator working.

picked up 800lbs of paver blocks in the bed of the truck. Couldn't tell I had them in there other than a little squat out back!!!

Buy a true locking rear diff and probably won't need to use 4WD at all or as often.

It's an actuator in the differential 72$ part...

Wow 14k. I would've already done an oil change from having to top it off every couple thousand. Mines got that disappearing oil syndrome. No leaks or smoke just disappears

I also use the 4.2L Trailblazer filter M1-206(AcDelco PF61) instead of the M1-107(AcDelco PF46)

I usually use a quart every 3300 but this last time it was a little less than a quart and I went 3500

Had my bow tie painted. The black has some metallic flake in it so when the light hits it looks killer. And yes, the rest of the truck is filthy. It's been rainy here. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1399160094.628950.jpg

It got my old RCSB 350 2WD out of some pretty nasty mud in a ditch. Had it installed when it first hit the market by a pro diff place that did a lot of work on trucks and Semi's and they told me the shop stopped for a while because they thought it was such a great design all the guys were checking it out, was told during the test drive a bunch of mechanics piled in the bed so they could go along for the test, and the just drove in circles in the parking lot(it unlocks in a turn, makes a fairly loud clicking sound).

They told me they wanted to be a local distributor and thanked me for bringing it to them to install. This from a shop that at first glance thought I might had just bought snake oil for them to install.

Thought about stepping up to a grade IV synthetic? Several are cheaper(Valvoline and Pennzoil).

Maybe they did start making that with IV again and I forgot.

Tomorrow I'm getting some off pavement shots of it. Nothing crazy, want it clean.
