This is an 08. The only reason it sucked was that it wasnt mine. I hate driving other peoples cars. I worry about getting a ticket or in an accident in them

It was my aunts. I also rent my house from her. When she handed me the ford keys, i was told "if you cant bring it back in one piece, dont bother coming home"

Which is why I prefer on taking my truck as much as I can, even when it's my own family. Unfortunately the truck isn't up for road trips yet. Still have a few more things to check/replace first.

Changed my oil today. 7500 miles on regular M1 and was about 1.5 quarts low. So i am losing about 6 oz per 1000 miles

That's not bad. Wish I could say my oil consumption was even in the ballpark of that...

It is called paying $40 and having someone wash it at a local place

Have you forgotten where I live

I clayed the entire truck yesterday to remove some sort of overspray from it. It felt like coarse sandpaper. Took me about 2 hours and the biggest part of two clay kits to get it all off. It looks great now. What a job!

Pickup threw a 332 yesterday, so went and picked up new knock sensors. Turns out the rear had some water in it. Replaced both, everything is good now.

I need to find a decent performing tire in a 285/35R22. Looking mainly for dry traction. That also doesnt cost as much as the BFG G-Force KDW. Looking at the Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06. I also cant find a set of wheels in correct offset that makes me just want to click "Buy It Now"

Chris, have you looked at the Cooper tires? I have always had great luck with them and they wear like iron, usually 55,000 mile warranty. I have to run AT's but their highway tires are rated just as good.

Nitto also makes a good highway tire.
