Most likely, with the miles this truck has it's going to have a few problems. I'm just hoping once the leaks are fixed it will solve the majority of the problem.

Mine doesn't leak or burn oil. Has had a few seals replaced back in the warranty days though.

Put new tires on it and changed the oil. $800 later should feel like a brand new truck.

Changed the oil today. Just under 10k miles, 267 hours, & 1 year 4 months. Sent a sample out to Blackstone Labs to see if I could've gone longer. I'm guessing I probably could have, but I've got a long haul to FL with a 60's Belvedere coming up soon. Better safe than sorry.

 

Geesh, what a friggin PAIN IN THE ASS trying to send that USPS!!! Typical gov't-run entity. They were acting as if I was shipping 3 lbs of nitroglycerin. Un-friggin-believable ... I'm the 3rd generation of my family to spend every waking moment covered in used oil as part of my daily routine. My grandfather lived to 86. Used motor oil isn't friggin hazardous waste for F sake!!

 

Next time I'll Fed-Ex the damn thing. Will be less aggravation driving 30 miles out of my way ...

According to them....

Its actually not their policy, its the airlines. Government forces them to rent space on airlines intstead of owning their own airplanes as an anti monopoly rule. Due to that, they have to follow the airline cargo rules.

Got to haul away some stuff for a neighbor friend. Wanted to clear out some old kids toys and junk for a birthday party.

Pulled the tail lights and sprayed some rust stop in there. And some on bottom inside of tailgate.

 

Thinking of adding 6" LED clearance bars on sides. Front ember/rear red with signals and running lights. There is just a clamp holding it on right now. Whatcha think?
