Ahh, good idea. Anything to keep the salt off.

Went to work and then to the supply house to get myself a new set of klien linesman. On another note I need a new floor jack for working on my truck any recommendations for one. I will have to carry it out of basement so hopefully it isn't something extremely heavy.

Anything aluminum, since you have to carry it. HUGE difference in weight (and price ...$$$).

I used to carry my grandfather's old Sears 1.5 ton jack from my parent's shed to the street (150' away) when I was a teenager, any time I needed to do work on the truck, car, or motorcycle. I still have the same jack - it about blows my back out now just dragging it across pavement ... let alone carrying it!

Still works, & we've done nothing to it in 35+ years. My newer jack (8 years old) just started failing this week. Needs fluid, it seems like. Just one more thing to waste time screwing with. My grandfather's trusty Sears has the same fluid it had back in the early 70's.

I took her out for a drive last night after my run, I really enjoy it when she's this clean inside and out!

Did yours have the intermittent CEL like mine? It says it's the knock sensors and possibly O2 sensor, but it's only on half the time and still gets the same mileage as before.

it did before I replaced the motor and the 4 o2 sensors. It got the same mpg though

Finally got around to installing my LED bed lights. Really like how it turned out and lights up the bed nicely.

Driving home, going 40 through a green light, a clown assumes I was going to turn and pulls his glacier slow old jeep right in front of me. Few seconds later, I have my brake pedal on the floor so I don't rear end him, and he starts shaking his head became I'm right on his bumper.

This guy can't survive himself too much longer.

Well my next little project isn't on the truck, but rather my trailer. Gonna be installing some reverse lights on the rear crossbeam as well as two mounted underneath the front crossbeam pointing outwards towards the tires so I can see where I'm going with it. Lights in total were $70, I have a bunch of wire already, so that didn't cost me anything. Have to pick up an in line fuse tomorrow.

Glad the 7 pin trailer heads have a pin specifically for backup lamps, and that my truck actually works without having to put any fuses in under the hood or on the driver panel.

Pics will come when I'm done with the project! Hopefully I can tackle it Sunday

I threw a pair of these on my flatbed trailer. Best thing I've EVER done to that thing. Can actually see backing up now, instead of trying to focus on what little light the LED's reflect off the ground in red ...

Like I mounted a pair of headlights on the back. Really impressive light output! Plus, they actually survived being bathed in salt, then buried under 3' of snow for a month ... and one of them was nearly run over by a Volvo wagon - not a scratch! Luckily it just pivoted, & avoided being busted off. Still working, over a year later.
