Wow .. up here they call SWAT on you for windows that dark. You think I'm kidding ... :noway: You'll be surrounded by state troopers.

I know how they feel about tint up north. We're from a town about an hour south of Chicago. I've seen plenty of people on the side of the road cutting off their tint as a city, county or trooper watched. Down here in Florida they're pretty lenient. In the past couple days I've had 4 city cops and one trooper look my way at red lights and didn't even give me a second look. Definitely keeps the heat from the Florida sun at bay.

I think anywhere it gets hot will give a lot of leeway. I haven't heard of anyone in my area getting heat about the tint in years, and last I heard it was High School kids complaining.

I got popped in AZ on Highway 17 just north of Phoenix for having the windows too dark on my '72 El Camino. With the sun out there, you needed all the tint you could layer up, lol.

Trooper held a digital device against my window - said 5% light was getting through. Even out there I think he said the limit was 25 or 35% - I was surprised.

Tore the whole interior out of mine today. Found a dead cray fish under the one trim piece. No idea how that would have gotten there.

Holy crap - usually find that level of sludge in vehicles close to a century old. :noway:

Left camper for good in St. George, Utah. Then visited Zion NP. I really like the Bus Shuttle service they provide, banning outside vehicle travel to a good stretch of the park.

Later made it to Bryce Canyon NP and WOW

Love the West - epic scenery everywhere you go.

I was just checking out a 57' RV from Spacecraft Manufacturing - HOLY CRAPPER ... :noway:

Nice! Must see some nice stuff over there I bet.

If I ever hit the lottery, that's the first company I'll be visiting.
