What did you do with your truck/shop today

I was always amazed at the vehicles I'd see on the road in Phoenix and SoCal. Stuff that rotted away in the northeast 30-50 years ago, still rolling with the original paint! Amazing how lack of moisture preserves metal.

 

Rubber is another story out that way, however ...

Yeah everyone that lives down the Cape has to deal with all that, on top of road salt. If they get 6 rust free years out of cars, they're doing good.

 

 

 

Finally finished the Mustang. Just needs a stepper motor for the speedometer. Modern gauges are absolute garbage these days. I took it apart thinking I could lube it, or clean it - still very difficult to move the needle by hand. Suppose I could swap the volt one with the speedo, just to get them by for now, but that'll probably fail soon too.

 

Sucks trying to upload anything here. I never have any problems with any other forums I'm on. Can't upload anything directly now - have to do it through Photobucket ...

 

Quality is horrendous - the smaller you can make it, the better it will look:

I don't know of any forum that will host a video. And photo bucket kills quality so that's no surprise.

True all around. The best way to maintain quality and be easy is to upload to youtube and embed it here

No. We have had the size restrictions for a while

I haven't done anything different size-wise on my end. Even the small cell phone pics won't load. I don't know why that changed suddenly. Oh well.

Haven't done anything to mine in the last week or so, but on Wednesday I plan to start working on replacing my torsion bar bushings, adding my leveling kit, and cleaning up/painting my frame from the back of the cab up.

Started the spring detailing since I didn't do it last year (concentrated on the car).

 

Clayed both bed sides polished and sealed. This is what happens with caked up mud when you polish
