Well going by just what I own

swap the AR for my Mini 14 (I hate cleaning guns anyway)

I'll stay with the 10-22

Not a fan of Glocks (great guns just personal preference) so swap that out for a P95 or my SR40

Sadly don't have an 870 so my Mossy 500 with pistol grip stock will have to do.

Lol, my wife hated my addiction tell she seen how they go for now, the woman just sees dollar signs.

Just me, but I would avoid putting a list of the firearms you own on the interwebs in these scary times. Big brother is watching. So are thieves.

For me a new .30-06 is needed. Going to get a Savage and wrap it up with that stretchy camo wrap, put on a nice scope, and put on a bipod. Long distance zombie hunting!! :D

IMO, check out a .308 instead. Not quite as powerful, but much more plentiful if SHTF. Unless you already have one.. Then carry on :D

Do you like the SR40? I have a friend looking into one.

I've looked at .308s, I like the flat shooting and speed. I do love the .30-06 too though, it's probably the most proven rifle cartridge. If I was picking between the two in the same gun... I'd probably have to flip a coin!

This guy knows what's up. No plastic Glocks. Give me a 1911, a decent AR with a HOLO sight, an 870/887 12 ga. And I don't know how about a Barrett M82A1 .50

No "plastic Glocks".......so what negative experience did you have with one, or any other polymer pistol for that matter??? Most police officer's carry some sort of polymer pistol without issue for years. It's alright though that you have a bottom of the barrel AR that has "plastic" on it. What's the difference?

I have carried a Glock since I was 18yrs old without 1 issue. Would not trust my life with anything else.

I'm a huge glock guy and think that every handgun should be a glock. That being said, I have an early model G23 gen4 that is/was a jammomatic. They really pushed them out to the streets too fast. It's been pretty good since I got the updated extractor and recoil spring. But I still had it jam once with the new parts in a defensive handgun class I attended. I no longer carry the 23 and have switched to a 19 gen4 and have yet to have any sort of a problem in about 3000 rounds without cleaning.

The one I'd change would be the Glock. I have shot a few models and while they function flawlessly they just don't fit my hand right and I can't shoot them very well. I'd pick my Springfield XDM40 or Remington 1911. The 10/22 would be a good choice but I might pick something with a little more umph to it like my Tikka 300wsm. It would be handy for big game hunting.

I dont care for Glocks. I like my 1911. Grew up around Glocks, Just never my thing. Also GI AR's or should I say M16/M4 have plastic on them. I was in the military and had to shoot one.

The semi auto rifle could be used for big game hunting. A 5.56 will drop anything in North America. The idea of the .22 is that it is easy to stock up on ammo, reliable, and is effective for small game hunting.

That's what I keep hearing but I'd much rather trust my 300 to bring down elk, moose or bear than a .223 and now days I can find 300wsm ammo about anywhere. My AR can be used for small game. Not saying the 10/22 is a bad choice, just might not be my first one.

I agree. There's a reason it is illegal to use a .223 here for deer. I believe .243 is the smallest legal round. When the undead come after me you can bet the .30-06 will be up to bat first.

You know the Walking Dead come in herds right? You do watch the show????

I love my 06 but...I want my AR with 30 rd mags and the Glock with 33 rd mags.

Peace through superior fire power :D

I'll sit on my hill and pick them off with the .30-06, then switch to the AR, then 887. Hopefully that will do it, I don't wanna break out the 9mm. If all else fails I'll run them through the combine!
