'11 is going to need tires soon, suggestions?

I have 51k on my original Wrangler At/s' They are getting noisy, one has a slow leak, and the tread while could go another 10-15k till the wear bars, I am curious. I am not trying to spend 300/tire but what are people's replacements? Wranglers? Geolandars? Grabbers? Nothing to aggressive, and I want to hopefully get 50+ on the next ones?

 

AND.............I know I will catch crap for this but, has anybody gotten the Definity
Dakota H/T from pep boys? I know it is a cooper? Anyone have luck with
them? 60k warranty, and they aren't an arm and a leg

I'm guessing the tire you mentioned is similar to a Cooper Discoverer HT? I haven't heard of them but Mastercrafts are by cooper too and people seem to like them.

Michelin LTX MS2 or Latitude Tour? The first will be the best jack of all trades, while the latter is best left to on road duties. And you can get both for under $200 each.

I have the geolander a/t on my truck and so far have got 40k on them with prob about 10k more as well but when these tires get low on tread, say good buy to any wet traction . Overall, great tire, even through the mud, which I had to drive through a couple of hunting trips.

I have Cooper AT3s in a slightly larger than stock size- 275/65/18. I don't drive the truck much now but so far they seem like decent tires. If they weren't on backorder I would've done General Grabber AT2s though.

I'll have to agree with White on the Michelin LTX M/S2s; they've been great for me in all situations I've encountered.

For highway use, I'd go with Michelin LTX M/S2's. For mixed highway/all terrain use, I'd go with Bridgestone Dueler Revo 2's or Goodyear Wranger Silent Armor. For more off-road use, I'd go with BFGoodrich All Terrains or Mud Terrains (not available in stock 18 inch size), or Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ (all terrain) or MTZ (mud terrain).

I have BFGoodrich A/T's in the hopes that someday I'll actually go offroading... They're pretty good on the road though.

I love my coopers, but mine are pretty much road tires as I drive a lot of highway miles, but seem to handle just fine on the light trail driving I've done. I'll be sticking with the coops.

I have had BFG All Terrains (LT rated) on suburbans, avalanches and trucks. I always got 70,000 plus miles from them. Mostly highway miles and occasional off-road, hunting, etc. worked real well in the snow. Usually had half of an inch of tread left when traded in. Good shocks and routine front end alignments equals longer tread life too!
