So you changed gears? What gears did you use? Do you think it was worth it? I am also pretty sure the issues we are having are related to the diameter of the tires. I need to get a tuner, was looking at superchips because i have used them before but i also have been considering diablo and black bear. I like the idea of a custom tune but dont know if its worth the extra money.

The 4.10 gears were well worth it. The truck is more drivable with the lift and big tires. The gears made it feel like a stock truck again. I have only tried the canned tunes on my diablo programmer, but from what I read online a bunch of times is it is worth getting a custom tune. I have been thinking of doing one. The canned tunes are better than stock with performance and a little more power.

Where did you get the gears from? I am assuming the 4:10 gears fit in the front diff housing OK. I will be going with 4:10 if i do upgrade but i read somewhere if you went with a larger gear like a 4:56 on the older trucks they wouldn't fit in the front diff housing properly.I am OK with the way the truck runs now with 3:42 gears and 35's. I mean it could be better but its drivable. As for a tuner. I think I am going with diablo then I can get a custom tune later. Hopefully I can get the wife to buy it for me for Christmas lol... CATaylor had 4.56 gears in his 1500. I don't believe he had any issues with the front differential.

4.5" zone with cooper st maxx 35's

Any rub issues? How's the ride? I'm between this kit and the Ready Lift off road suspension. What made you choose this kit?

Also how much rake is there? Looks like there's some but can't tell if it's actual rake or if the truck is on unlevel ground

So far there is no rub and I did no trimming. I've only had the lift for a couple of days but I can tell it's a little stiffer, which is to be expected but not bad at all. The rake isn't to bad, just about 1 inch. As for the lift it was between this one and the BDS but I wanted to run 35's without rubbing and the guys I had install the lift told me the zone was the way to go! so far they seem right and I love it.

Awesome! Thank you. Do you have a shot going down the side of the truck to show how far the tires stick out?

And by chance a measurement from ground to center top of the wheel well? I have an idea of how high it should be but am curious to see the actual measurements.

Did you do anything special that caused that much take? Zone told me it shouldn't be near that much. 1/2" -3/4" rake at most.

I don't have a pick going down the side but the front tires do stick out about 1" to 1.5" past the back tires, doesn't bother me. I'll have to get back with you about the wheel well height I don't remember it off the top of my head. And no I didn't do anything special for the rake but I might have measured on un- level ground

Alrighty. I'll be looking forward to hearing back from you on those measurements! And wheel spacers should level the rear wheels with the fronts. I plan to do that on mine. I don't want them uneven. It would drive me crazy with my OCD.

I'm looking to get a Zone 4.5 as well, But I'm gonna get 33s. Are those the stock rims? I don't really wanna buy different rims.

Wait..so running stock wheels with this kit does not require spacers?!
