I have the above red truck. 6.2 with max package 3:72 gears. It's no dog for sure as is. I did notice a power lose but overall not that much . Keep in mind I am judging from seat of pants and being higher up it gives u a feeling that u r moving slower. The rolling weight I added was about 20 pounds more over stock per tire / wheel.

I have been watching the lie o meter and it's down on mpg but then again I need to adjust for a slightly taller tire. Mpg is a good base line for the amount of power / efficiency lose from the lift kit.

I have 35s and noticed some power loss but it still has plenty of power especially with a diablew custom tune. I'll still regear when a new ring and pinion become available. Definitely not a dog.

This might sound dumb, but if you floor it from a dead stop can you still get the tires to squeal?

I don't think 37's wrapped around 20's looks bad. That's what I plan on getting

On 35/20 now but about to go 37/18 unfortunately; will 18s fit on a Texas/all star edition equipped with 20s from the factory? 99.99993737% sure they will since the base models have 18s but want to confirm.

And has anywhere here stacked a body lift on a suspension yet? Or will I be the guinea pig?

Yes they will fit fine.and body lift suspension combos are quite common, although I don't recall any 14+ trucks on the site with anything that big.

They should fit. There is a member on here who is running 37s on a 6" suspension + 3" body. Check out the first few pages of this thread and you will find him. His name is GMCBLACKWIDOW. He was asking about it in the beginning of this thread but you can look at his pictures that he posted later of the 6" SL + 3" BL w/ 37/20

EDIT:

heres a link to his gallery where he has the pictures.

They arent all that great of pictures tbh but its the closest thing I have seen to what you are looking to do.

you forgot to mention that it looks like you are "debadging" the rims. :rollin: I don't see a center cap on the rear wheel

Too bad you're not closer and wanting to keep your 20s. I'm looking to trade my basically new 37" trails for some 35s.

How do you like the lift? Any issues? I have the MaxTrac 3" and have been on the fence about upgrading to the 6.

go for it. my truck is 2wd so the lift is just a 3" spindle lift; cant really mess that up. and then the other 3 inches are from the spacer on the front suspension. no change in ride quality, suspension geometry remains unchanged, etc. i have a 4 block on the rear for the 6 up front, pretty level
