Actually the only difference between Zone and BDS IS the warranty. My shop down here in California showed me both lifts and they are identical the only difference is the block size and the warranty. To be more correct, BDS was an already established company with a parent company called Zone. What separated them is the warranty but both are highly regarded of being equal quality. Fox only recently bought BDS in 2014.

More information on them here:

Can anyone confirm if my driveshaft is supposed to be at an angle like this after the 4.5" zone suspension lift?

of course, the truck is higher above the axle causing a steeper angle

Will that cause any damage or is it putting any undue wear?

They are not the same. BDS kits use new struts to achieve the front lift and Zone kits use a spacer that sits on top of the stock strut. Which is why the zone kits cost less. All other parts are the same though.

you can get the struts BDS uses through Zone or the fox's through Zone also.

However BDS uses arched cross members and kicker braces which Zone does not. Essentially they are the same

Thanks for the info on the zone/bds. I also have a question. I have a 2wd but would like to put on 35s on a 4.5 zone. Their website says 33s for a 2wd and 35s for a 4wd on a 4.5. Wondering the difference as to why the clearance is different and has anyone done a 4.5 zone on a 2wd and put 35s on?

4wd from the factory sits either 1" or 1.5" taller than 2wd.
