What issues have u heard about bracket lifts?  I'm still on the fence for what lifts I'm gonna do eventually.  I know the truck "needs" one (crew cab std box so it's a bit like a limousine)

I’ll be honest, I can’t remember off hand. Both lifts have issues depending on who you talk to.

So I've had the lift now for about a week or less.. And want taller lift :)

but i'm posting here to ask about noticeable drive train shifting/engaging.

This weekend we went to the beach, and few areas required putting the truck into 4wd low to get thru some of the really loose sand..

No issues for us, but every once in a while it almost felt like it was slipping a little and then engaging again. Ive never owned a 4wd, so cant say this is normal or not normal, but wanted to ask..

I do have to check the fluid level in the TC, since during the install some fluid did come out, but ive noticed the same sort of slipping/engaging in 2wd as well...

What is or is not normal for 4wd lifted truck.. i probably wont drive in 4wd again for a while, so ill be checking and filling the TC fluid this week, but the normal day to day driving is what im more concerned about..

Anyone have any pics of a ‘14-‘15 Z71 with a Zone 4.5” that kept their stock 18s?

Check out customwheeloffset.com
Check in the gallery. You can search exactly what you want to do and get an idea what it would look like or just browse for ideas. Others suggested it and I was a bit skeptical but they have a TON of pics. I even found something for my weird taste.

Thanks.  Looks like it'll work with wheel spacers.  If I go with Bora spacers, is there any maintenance that needs to be performed outside of bolting them on with some thread locker?  If I have to remember to tighten them every oil change, I'd almost rather just get new rims and sell the old ones...

Can't help you on that one. I am getting new rims but trying to figure out exactly what offset I want and whether I want spacers or not. Don't have experience with them as of yet...

I have the bora spacers on rear and have no issues. Torque check at each tire rotation...

Hey guys - I have searched all through this forum and cant seem to find any info...

I got a 6 inch lift on my truck and there is about 1.5" difference in rake. I like the leveled look more - you guys recommend getting a 1.5" spacer up front? Or just leave it alone?? Thanks

I honestly have no idea. I just bought the truck and it was on there already..

Smaller block in the rear would be the way to fix the rake. I personally like and need the rake because I use the truck as designed.

Yeah I’m not hauling a lot around so it is more of a cosmetic thing for me.
