Ok, so you do have the 6.5” kit. Last possibility is you have the add-a-leaf which is giving you the additional lift in the rear. Check your leaf pack

Yup, that’s the culprit. Remove the AAL and that should level you out.

Hey guys, instead of going though over 400 pages on this subject I’m hoping you can simply reply and help a guy out. Suspension is all new to me, I will also not be installing this; it will be a Shop.

I’ve decided to go with RC for everything. I’ve listed the items I’m grabbing below and curious if there will anything else I should do. The truck has 110,000 km on it.


7IN GM SUSPENSION LIFT
- GM 7IN LIFTED N2.0 STRUTS
- Premium N3 for the rear
**GM FRONT ADJUSTABLE VERTEX COILOVERS
**GM REAR ADJUSTABLE VERTEX SHOCKS
- Kicker Braces
- GM Upper Control Arms
- GM Traction Bar Kit
- GM SS Extended Front Brake Lines
- GM HEAVY DUTY TIE ROD SLEEVES | LIFTED KNUCKLE KITS
- FRONT CV DRIVE SHAFT

** - I may go with the vertex - undecided yet, do you think they would make a huge difference over the n2 and n3?

Any help here is greatly appreciated, totally new to this type of stuff.

Are the strut spacers and blocks available individually? I thought i saw you can get the blocks, but never saw the spacers..

You are probably going to have to contact Zone. I'm sure they would sell you just the parts you need. I have a good friend that did the RC 5" and now wants to upgrade to the 7". They don't list just the spacers online but he inquired about it and they said they can sell him just the spacers and blocks to get the extra couple inches.

I’m still on the fence on RC or SuperLift.

I can get a 8” SuperLift kit or a RC 7” kit. Which would you go with and why? I’m hoping I can get as much feed back as possible on this ASAP as I need to get orders in in two days.

The blocks are, I’m sure the spacers are too.

Hey everyone, i have been reading and reading these forms for weeks now as this is my first pick up truck.. and i definitely want to lift it.. 

 

it's a 2015 Sierra 1500 Denali with 3.42 gears.. current wheels are 285/45R22...  i have been tossed between a 4 inch lift and a 6 inch lift but i think i will regret not going bigger if i go with the 4 inch.. so im looking at a 6inch BDS. The truck has beautiful stock 22's which i was planning on keeping and just adding rubber.. and a spacer on the rears to bring them flush with the front wheels.. 

 

my dilemma is.. which size tires to go with.. i have looked at some pictures that show a 6inch lift on 33's or slightly larger (33.5) and they dont look too bad.. but i also like the look of the 35's. truck still has powertain and bumper to bumper warranty which ill cross that road if i get there lol but what im wondering is will 35's be too hard on the trans? i didnt really plan on regearing especially until the warranty is up (approx. 2 years). i dont tow much at all.. maybe a trailer full of dirtbikes.. and its my daily driver which for work its a mix of city and highway driving. im coming from a sport SUV so i know theres a big loss in power already comparing the 2 .. will it be that much worse? will my mix of driving hurt my truck? i do plan on some road trips with the bikes.. gas mileage im really not overly worried about.. my SUV was a PIG on fuel and premium at that.. 

 

sorry for the long not here guys but im just trying to get some more assistance to help my decision! i definitely dont want to be putting a lot of stress on the truck.. but i have been itching to lift it and add tires lol

Cant comment on everything, but here is what ive noticed so far after doing my lift myself 2 weeks ago

 

You will def regret not going bigger if you really are looking for a "lift",  had a coworker here at my job with the same truck, just earlier year, got the 4" and wished he would have gotten the 6" 

I got the 6" and already wanted the taller 10" lift. I opted for the 35" on my stock 20's and love the look.. you will feel some slugish take off, just because you are turning larger tires, but i traded the speed for the lift / look. As for MPG, i lost about 80 to 100 miles per tank. Before the lift, i could fill up and the display would show 400+/- for the tank... Now i it shows 315+/- per tank.. Im not so much concerned about that, since my daily round trip commute is about 10miles.. so not huge hit on the wallet yet. Already took it on the beach and in 4wd from time to time felt like it was slipping, but ive never owned a 4wd so cant really state if this is normal feeling(not knowing if it was actually slipping)

 

Im happy for now, but next truck or next lift will def be taller :)

thank you very much for the insight and experience! its tough, i am slightly worried about it but at the same time i really want a lift.. would staying in the 33inch range be any better? i mean being on 22inch wheels there wont be much rubber to them at all.. probably same with the 35's.. 

 

on another note, the only companies i can find are BDS and Rough Country that do the magneride lift kits dor the Denali`s.. does anyone know of anything else? i like BDS for the quality i keep hearing about, the warranty and the fact they keep your angles pretty close to stock.. rough country i keep hearing they throw your angles all out of whack.. and the quality isnt the best.. from what i can find, if i dont go with the 6inch BDS im basically stuck with Rough Country and their 5inch lift!

I would 100% go with BDS over rcx. BDS is the superior kit. As for tires, I’d only run 33s if you were running a x12 or wider wheel. Since you want to run your stocks (as long as they’ll work) idcrun 35s
