No, That one will work, but it's an unprotected Teflon socket on a steel ball that the racers use. My truck isn't a race truck. I don't want to maintain it like one either. I bought their, UCA with a regular automotive ball joint, albeit a heavier ball joint than the OEM.

Exactly ... thanks, it's just the look I wanted !

Keep your overall plan of future mods in mind when deciding on wheel size. When I bought my o/s Wilwood brakes, I was told that the min size wheel was 18" (although 17s looked like they might work) for the 14.25" dia brakes I chose. There was also a 16" brake for the same price that required a 20" wheel. So, if you think you'll get bigger brakes later, research the compatibility of the wheel sizes.

Will they fit? I am new to the forum. I need advice. I have a 2WD 2014 Silverado LT with factory 18" wheels. I recently had a Prolift 2" leveling kit installed up front. I have ordered LT275/70/18 Nitto Trail Grappler M/Ts to achieve a more aggressive look. They are 33.62" in diameter. My question is will they rub? Do I have enough clearance? I have read wheel well liner could be adjusted with zip ties. Is this an option? Could someone post some pictures of this? Thanks.

Your tires should fit. They'll be close in some places, maybe even rub the liner a bit, depending on the flex of the liners. But probably not. You'll be fine. And yes, you can tie back the liners. They're just plastic and you can drill a couple holes to run the ties thru.

Same setup I have but just a different tire. everything fits fine and they really fill the wheel wells nicely. Post pics when they're on!

Having the zone 2 inch level installed this morning at 10:30. Still undecided on perfect tire size. Won't be off road but want a better stance with no rub problems. So many options here on this thread. 2 inch level up front. Stock block in back. Using my stock 20's I need a tire choice that's gonnagive me more rubber without sticking out the sides. Thoughts?

EDIT: zone 2 inch with G2 285/55/20.
