so much for wanting to get it cleaned up and take some pics .... go to the car wash and it scratches the **** out of my truck

owner of the place says "well thats not possible, my car wash doesnt scratch. Im not coming there tonight, we can discuss it tomorrow. I'll send one of my employees to take a look"

I opted to run thru the wash for a quick fix tonight, when all along the plan was to wash it myself tomorrow like I always do. So pissed right now

I know how u feel. Just bought a truck 2 weeks ago and the car wash here scratched my truck. Also carved up my door handle too.

had a little break from the texas flooding weather to install my RC 2.5 level friday night and got the tires mounted saturday morning.

Off subject but what Tonneau cover is that and how do you like it?

Has anyone installed the Rancho quick lift shocks? Looks to be a decent alternative. I don't want to loose any ride quality with a spacer levelling kit after bouncing down the road in 3/4 tons.

I just put on the Ranchos all the way around on my 2015 max tow Sierra. It raised it about 2" in the front, maybe 1.8 on the passenger side but that side was higher to begin with. They are not softer than the stock shocks but about the same when set to the softest setting.

So it was the quick lift shocks? Happen to have any pics you care to post?

I wanted to thank everyone for all of the posts. With your help I decided on the RC 2.5 and Cooper AT3 275/65/20. Made a huge difference in the way the truck looks. Sucks to buy a new truck and have to spend money to make it look like a truck. Thanks again for the feedback and a great place to do research.

Are you getting any mechanical rub with these? Also, how much of a MPG hit did you take? I was looking to get these with just a 2in front RC level

Yes it was the Quick lift shocks. I don't have any pics but it looks just like all the other leveled trucks. I think if the front were any higher it would be nose high IMO.

Any rubbing at all on this setup? What backspacing do you have?

I have a slight rub at full turn in reverse but that's it. I was just waiting for the Bilstien 5100's to become available and do a few adjustments that way. The wheels are 20x9 with a 0 offset. It should be a 5" backspacing.

need help with which wheels to get.

im looking at the method mesh 18x9's but there are two options on back spacing. im going to put on toyo m/t's 33x12.50r18.
