Sticker on 2014 SLE Sierra All terrain Z71 short bed 50999...payed 46000 before rebates and negative equity.

Sold my trade for 10000 owed 12600 2004 silverado 1177xx miles had a accident on its carfax and usually only got 7k or 8k offered or less at just about every dealer I went to. I also got 3500 in rebates off of the vehicle, but that barely covered my negative equity in the truck. With tax title License and gap and negative equity it cam out to about 47xxx out the door.

The truck has the Sle value package, all terrain package, it will be getting the crome 6" square flat running boards, and linex in the bed. Boise sound system, heated leather trimed seats (does anyone else have just the leather trimed seats? this was the only truck I found in N.M that had that kind of setup.) under seat storage, LED Bed lighting two sets of vehicle mats one all terrain and regular GMC mats. overall It is a huge upgrade and I feel that its alot of money nomatter what might as well get what you want out of it.

Hello everyone. I'm looking at a 2014 CC Silverado 4x4 (not z71). It's an LT1 but has been leveled, 275/65r20 Nitto MTs on stock 20s, with color-coded mirror and door handle caps. It's got the fold-down armrest and cloth with backup camera. Nothing extra I don't believe. Here's the numbers I'm getting.

Sticker $45,315

Sale price $42,000

After TTL $44,921 with cash down or $44,443 if I trade in

Take away $3,500 for rebate and it's $41,121 or $40,943 OTD then minus my trade or cash down.

Also, this dealer is offering me 1.9% for 60 or 72 months.

I feel like there's still room to work but he's saying no of course. I've read through the "price paid" thread and looks like I'm nowhere near the better deals.

Sticker was $57,750

Paid $49,500

Before I could get out the door I bought another $4,000 in accessories/parts but paid separately for those.
Not a killer deal but I didn't want to wait any longer so I could start getting things done to it.

There is more room to work there, but that depends on what they have to have on the level kit & aftermarket tires.

Dealer add ons have a lot of mark up that they do not want to give away. Maybe look elsewhere at a competitive truck

at another dealer then come back to it to see if they want to compete for your business.

Second that, it's time consuming too, but usually worth it. You've got to be prepared to walk out and go to multiple dealers.

This is good to see that prices are high when sold that means resale value will be higher then other brands. The less rebates on these trucks the better down the road after you purchase. That's how tundra has such a high resale value.

$478 in trade-in assistance? Who is offering that? GM or the dealership?

What is supplier/invoice price for this truck?

2014 1500 Denali with 6.2 MSRP 55240 paid 48500 no tax for me I am military. YESSSSSS. I got to this price by walking out after negotiations and not getting to my numbers. That's better than USAA Pricing said 5k off was a great deal I got 6740 off and a line-x bed liner to and they took off all the decals. Not the best work I have done but not the worst either.

Update, the online price was $45k but it's actually $48k after leveling kit, tires, and tint. Probably cheaper to buy without and put on myself.

Most likely. 4 Nitto MTs at discount tire will run $1450, tint another $100?, level kit $250-400 installed, much cheaper if DIY. So you're really paying about $1000 in dealer profit it seems vs getting a stock and doing these things outside the dealer.

No one dealer is always going to have the lowest price

Start off by contacting the largest volume dealers in the state. Those dealers move alot of vehicles and will often sell them for less and make up for it in more volume.

Once you have a good offer in hand from one of them, circulate it to other dealers and see if any will beat it... This may work better at the end of the month. Or call dealer X and tell them that Dealer Y is willing to sell you a truck for $500 under invoice, minus incentives. See if they will beat the offer. Even if Dealer Y didn't really give you that offer, dealer X won't know this, and they won't call the other dealership to check so go ahead and lie to them if you have to! Believe me, they will be lying to you about something before the process is done, so don't feel bad about it! LOL

You need to keep working them against each other until you get the deal you want. Don't let them pressure you into accepting a deal you aren't fully behind. Always be prepared to walk out of the dealership... They will often call you back in a day or two and give a better offer despite them swearing up and down they couldn't do any better a day or two earlier....

Considering the 2015's are due out pretty soon, with some decent negotiating skills, you should be able to get $10K off sticker. Possibly more if you can get employee pricing.
