Thinking of buying an SLT 1500.

What do you think of this?

MSRP: 52,800.

Invoice: 48,900

Rebates: 2,800

Shouldn't I do better than that?

Thanks for your help.

So do you mean 6700 off msrp? Yeah I think you could do better, seems like the higher sticker prices get bigger discounts. 8k or 9k off should be possible according to posters in this thread anyway.

This is pretty much exactly the package I want. Is it all reasonable to hope that I'll be able to get an out the door price with Texas TTL of 30 K if I'm willing to wait for the new F150s to come out or end of model year clearance?

That's really the numbers I need to be at. But is a 4-5k drop possible or ridiculous?

Well, it's going to tough to even get this package as it's pretty hard to come by. Pretty much every LT Z71 I saw had split bench front seat and even if they did have the bucket seats and floor console, none of them had the Bose sound system. And I pretty much checked every dealership in the Houston area. Part of the drop in price is also because GM is offering the GM Supplier discount to everyone now. I would expect that this won't last forever either. So, it my be difficult, but not entirely impossible, especially if you wait until the end of the year.

I'm actually not fussed with bench seats so that may drop another grand off. I do want the Bose though. You're right, the z71 lt are hard to find been looking all over SA.

Mind if ask what dealer? I'd drive to Houston if I could find the right truck at right price.
