crushNchowda Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 I bought a '15 SLT All Terrain w/ 20"s 6.2 pretty loaded up (everything except trailer brake and blind spot monitoring more or less) sticker was around $55,000 I paid $48,500 + TTL (that price included the dealer throwing in $500 spray liner, $100 mudguards, and $250 for clear bra on front bumper) I think I could have gotten it for less, but overall I did OK I suppose.

raym0016 Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 Crew cab short box 5.3l 4x4 with the LT convenience package + sport package (trailer package and 20" wheels) + Bose audio. The truck had an MSRP of $47,500. They took $10,500 off then gave me $6,250 for my trade and gave me accessories at cost. The way I figure it, they really gave me the truck at $12,250 less than MSRP because they gave me $1750 more than what my car was worth.
theonlyway Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 Just remember that the bigger the factory rebate the less money the dealer will come off of the truck after rebates. With $5k rebates you can find a dealer to come off another $5k or so. If there is $10k in factory rebates the dealers will be less pressed to come off much more than that because they can still move the trucks and make more money. I ran into that same scenario this time last year when I was looking to buy. My sticker was 54k, and I got 44K out the door. My sales tax was $2899 and was included in that price. I essentially got 25% off or roughly 13.5k
tnchevy Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 That is the same percent off I got mine for this time last year. Funny thing is when I started shopping in August when the rebates on double cabs were about $4,500 I was still able to get the dealers down close to that percentage. When the rebates doubled the next month the same dealers offered the same deal and let me walk on anything lower.
phro Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 I picked up my new truck yesterday: 2015 Silverado 1500 High Country, Standard Bed, High Country Premium Package, Sunroof MSRP: $54,680 Got them down to $43,680 (includes a $750 Credit Union discount, but nothing else itemized). Traded in my old truck and got an extra $1,000 over negotiated price by financing through GM (which is a total rip-off, by the way... I'll be paying that off quickly). Total savings is $12,000, which is 22% off MSRP. I'm happy with that, but the experience at the dealership was just awful.
Badass69 Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 Mine was sort of strange but I got what I wanted. Trucks here are all stupid in price so taking into account the gm applicable rebates you would get just around 9000 off. I bought a 6.2 LTZ double cab that the dealer set price was 60585. Sticker was 58475 but then they added on some factory accessories I actually had wanted accounting for the price increase. Every other dealer wouldn't move beyond around 13000 off sticker and then offered me around 23000 for my f150 I was trading in. 23000 wasn't bad as I had it up privately for 28000 looking for 26000 maybe. Average price on similar f150 was between 27000 and 30000 so I picked the lower end middle to get it moving. I only paid 32000 out the door for the Ford 14 months earlier (leftover 2013 model)and it had a 47519 sticker. Stupid good deal on the Ford but it was always having issues no one could resolve so it had to go. The dealer with my truck offered the gm 8250 discount plus the 1000 loyalty rebate but then gave me 30000 for the f150. Well that's more than I could sell that truck for and a good 7000 more than anyone else's best offer. I paid 23000 difference all in and went from a fairly basic supercab xlt to a loaded doublecab LTZ. Anywhere else difference was closer to 30000.....so I was okay with it. I made revenue in my Ford for 15 months and lost 2000 from purchase price lol. Sent from my potato
GMC207 Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 I traded a 2014 in so was lucky I got what I owed on it for trade. I paid a little over 20% off msrp which was 53,800ish. Tax and all I financed 43k.
Mambo Dave Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 I need pricing help here guys 2015 base-model GMC Sierra double-cab, only option is the 5.3L V8. Steel wheels, basic truck, white, 3.43 rear gears. What would a 'good' deal OTD be (6% sales tax)? I would like to drive up tomorrow (Saturday), so I'm open to some fast responses if you would be so kind. Thank you!
chagan02 Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 2015 LTZ Z71 5.3 Navi/Chromed out/Sprayed liner/OEM running boards. 42500 out the door at 2.6%.
tstodda Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 My 15 LTZ CC sticker was 49 and some change and I paid 38250- that was their upfront offer. Build date was June 2015 so I wouldn't say it had been on the lot a long time. Took delivery almost 3 weeks ago. My guess as to why they went so low is that it's an LTZ with the 18 inch rims and no Z71. Must be that at that price point that's more of a demand, who knows.
