Adding Navigation to Intellilink / MyLink System

Very satisfied customer. Thanks Kodiakz. Received the unit yesterday. A day late due to east coast weather issues according to FEDX. I guess on FEDX's maps you have to go east from Colorado to get to Utah. Maybe they need a navigation system.

Install was easy. Took about 20 minutes. The instructions were easy to follow. I didn't even need to contact Kodiakz for help.

Called XM and added travel link and weather to my trial subscription. I had no issues. Maybe it's because I already have 2 other radio's with them.

Called Onstar from the truck and was transferred to tech support. After about 7 minutes she came back and said everything was updated and good to go. I now have the Send to Nav option on the remote link app.That was the selling point for my wife. She's very happy now.

I agree with the previous poster, I dont care to much for the factory navigation, but would LOVE LOVE LOVE to be able to mirror my iphone 6 to the 8" chevy screen. Please, anyone, PM me if you have additional info on where to get that

The same place you get that video in motion/nav entry in motion/ texting upgrade ; gm-navigation.com

Thanks for the info, I tried emailing the company a few days ago, but had not heard anything back from them

I'd rather mirror google maps from my phone than have gm factory nav. Much more updated maps with traffic, just my 2 cents

I think demand has pushed the cost through the roof... I'll deal with what I've got until more people are able to offer this or a similar feature for a lower cost.

Same here, in my opinion all of this should cost about $500. The problem is that damn parts from GM alone are a couple hundred.

Understood, but why not then just do a core swap credit? Send me a programmed HMI module, I send them my old HMI module to reprogram, refund $200?

According to Kodiakz the current modules in our vehicles do not support the extra features and have to be replaced.

yeah the price has basically scared me away from any of the upgrades 6-800.00 is too rich for my blood

And yet other sellers are purporting to make these changes to the existing part. Who's to believe anymore? I feel we're all collectively being taken for a (VERY) expensive train ride.

Not purporting definitely making the changes, many people on this forum have it ;)
