Redhot,

That is the Gator FX3 tonneau cover. It is sweet. I like it because I can fold it a fourth time and lean it against the back window and have more bed access....it locks down tight...it is low profile and it was a breeze to install.

Hey guys I'm new. I've lurked here for a while and finally decided to upload some pictures of my truck when I first purchased her, back in August 2015.

2015 Silverado LTZ CC. I love my truck and other than just a few things, I can't complain. First Chevy or new chevy I have ever owned. I have an 85 C10 Long bed that I use for all the work so this for now gets to sit on the sidelines. To date I have leveled it, de-badged all but the rear Chevy emblem, tinted my tail lights and third brake lights. Put in LED Reverse lights and license plate lights from Diode Dynamics, Cooped 275/60R20 Tires ( 55s from the factory look too small ), and other than some plastic dip here and there that's all so far. Wheels and better tires eventually are what I want, along with the chrome GONE... Hate chrome. Anyways thanks for looking and reading!. I'll get some pics of how she sits right now.

welcome - good looking truck

It squat so bad because they put the entire load on the front of the trailer

center the wieght over the trailer axle and it will pull better down The hwy

Yeah I had them reposition it over the axles, the forklift was down and they had a new guy trying to load it with the walker stacker. It wasn't all over the place going down the highway but you knew that trailer was on there for sure.

Here's my 2015 Silverado LT1 4x4 5.3

So far it has a 2.5 level kit up front, 15% tint all the way around, OEM color match grille, HID headlights and fog lights, 3" cube leds mounted on brackets under hood hinge.

Coming soon

All terrian tires, black bow ties, blackbear tune, 30" light bar behind grille, color match headlight bezels.

So I saw you said you put hids in but I think you have the reflector housing, does the light get scattered everywhere and blind on coming drivers?

I not sure what you mean, but I don't have any problems with people flashing me or anything so I'd say no.

Oh okay that's good because hids are known for scattering the light in reflector housings because unlike projectors there is not a lense that focus the light beam and creates a good cutoff so the light someone times scatters. Would you be able to post a picture of the lights pointing on a wall from like 10-15ft away and what kit are the hids? Link?

I'm not home right now but I will do that for you when I get home. The hids are opt7 8k and the fog lights are the same but 6k. I know they're "cheap" but they work great and I've never had a problem with them and the light output is great.

My new 2015 1500...just added the tonneau cover and nerf bars...more stuff coming!

Anyone want to offer free advice to a new truck owner (meaning this is my first truck) on making it better for off road...i see a lot of pics on here

where the trucks are raised a few inches...I would like to get mine looking similar but dont want to void any warranties....and how about rims and tires...any good tires for the stock rims i have? Any suggestions on cat-back exhaust systems?

Better off road? First step ditch the side steps or return them.

Put a reasonable level and inch or so taller tire of the all terrain variety. Tons of choices out there from reasonable in price to expensive and aggressive to mild. Pick your poison, mamy are good. Check tire rack for reviews.

Sorry for the last response but I had to downsize the pictures to upload them. They are with both headlights and fog lights on, so here you go.
