Wow looks good what kind of drone do you have and what camera in it?

what made you go 35w over 55w?

One of my co-workers had 55w and he literally burnt a hole through the lense, so I wanted to stay clear or any issues and went with the 35w.

I looked at the Amazon reviews. Although 4 stars with over 1000 customers, the negative reviews are of some concern. Flickering, failure after 2 months, overheating, etc.

Any problems so far?

So I saw you said you put hids in but I think you have the reflector housing, does the light get scattered everywhere and blind on coming drivers?

You never put an HID in a reflector housing, the bulbs aren't set up for it. You quadruple the light out put with a bulb designed to have the housing direct its beam and cutoff. It blinds people, period. Never understood why people don't just do it properly and buy the correct housings. Can only imagine how hard it is on elder eyes or those with some eye problems with those types of lights coming at ya...

I was skeptical about the lights due to the reviews as well, but I haven't had any problem with them so far and I've had them for about a year now. The kit I bought came with inline capacitor and that helps with the flickering and lights coming on right away, but I also have a relay harness that illuminates all issues I could have.

It's the DJI Phantom 3 Advanced. Has attached camera with gimball so the stability of the camera is unreal. Was recording in 1080x60fps.

i wondered if that was the reason. I've heard of that happening. Thanks.
